Something New
I have learned something new today. There was something on my television this morning that my humans wanted to see 'cos it was about Orkney, so my MH didn't take out her vacuum cleaner and as soon as I saw her sitting on my couch, I plopped my adorable little self onto her knee and watched it too.
I was half watching and half snoozing but then a funny noise wakened me up fully and I looked at my television and got a great big surprise for the man making the funny noise was the same man that comed to my house a couple of weeks ago to stick a great big needle in me! It was my V-E-T man and he was playing his bagpipes. I didn't know what they were called, but I asked she who thinks she knows everything and she told me what they were, so now I know. I don't know if I like the noise, but maybe I will listen again.
I had lots of plays outside and I was in the field with all my little lamb friends and I liked that. My humans were outside with me lots of times and you know how happy that makes me.
I was just a tiny bit naughty last night 'cos just as my DH was thinking about going to bed, I asked him to please let me out and he said he would if I didn't stay out too long. Now, I didn't promise, you understand and I got all caught up in watching the baby sheeps so I sort of ignored his whistle and it was a bit very late by the time I decided to go back inside and he was a tad annoyed and a big bit tired, but he forgived me.
Well, you knew he would, didn't you?

And Another Week Begins
I think it will be a good week though 'cos when I went out into the fields last night there were lots of little lambs all ready to play with me and because they are a bit older now, the mummy sheeps don't mind if I go into the field beside them, so it is just a wee hop through the fence and I have lots of company.
It was a normal day for my humans with my DH sailing away to the Cat Shop and my MH playing with her dusters and the vacuum cleaner, so I was happy to be able to get outside. The weather wasn't great but it wasn't as warm as I like it. However, while my MH was working in our kitchen, she left the door open and I could lie on my path and watch her.
Our house only has one door and the leads into a wee porch which then opens up into my kitchen so you will understand how I can lie on my path and watch her. I like that 'cos she sometimes talks to me while she is working.
We both had a wander round my garden today and I ran and sniffed and climbed a few poles while the old dear watched me and she liked it 'cos I heard her telling my DH all about it when he came home and he smiled too.
I have been having lots of rests in my wee hoose and that makes my humans smile too 'cos they never know where I am going to have my many little sleeps. We have three bedrooms in my house so I just wander from room to room deciding which one I will rest in, but of course I don't tell anyone and they have to come looking for me.
But I am never too far away and they always can find me---eventually!

And a Crackin' Sunday
We were all up a wee bit earlier than normal on a Sunday 'cos my DH was going to the Cat Shop. 'On a Sunday?'I hear you think. Yes. You see this is the Folk Festival weekend and there are lots and lots of peoples from all over the world in Stromness, so it was decided to open the shop. See? So off he went leaving me and my MH to work out what we were going to do and after a long chat, we decided we were going to do somewhere between very little and nothing! :-))
We had lots of seats and lots of wanders outside since it was a lovely day. One of the times we were out we saw the nice farmer man next door putting his sheeps in the field in front of my house, so I will have lots of company when I go outside from now on and that makes me quite excited.
One of the times we were out, I nipped through the fence and managed to find a pile of dried grass which I buried my adorable little head in and it made my MH laugh a lot, and she tooked these pictures so that maybe you will laugh too.
Not at me, of course, but with me, eh?

A Super Saturday
It has been another super day for this little pussy cat and I have loved every second of it. The weather has been just how I like it and both my humans have been here so I have been very content.
My day started off nice and easy with me and my MH sitting on our couch having a little chat about what we were going to do and she told me she just had little bits of work to do and I could help her if I wanted----and I decided I would help. 'Cos that's what good pussy cats do, don't they?
My DH was working in our greenhouse so there was always company for me whenever I wandered round to see him. It was quite windy but my MH decided to put out her washing which meant it was pole climbing time for yours truly. I managed it most times, but one time I made a great big run and just as I was about to spring onto the pole, a big gust of wind blowed me sideways and I falled off again and that made my MH smile 'cos it looked funny and I wasn't hurt.I just missed the pole!
The old dear decided to cut our grass again so I just followed her round until she was finished and then I had a roll on all the new cut bits and it felt good so I did it lots of times. When she was finished, we had another wee seat together and then she went to the graveyard and the pictures for you today are of that and some of the views from my little island which I hope you like. The man who cuts the grass at the Kirk leaves all the wild flowers to grow and we think it looks lovely and we hope you like it too.

Friday Fun
There was just one wee disappointment today for this adorable little puss. Our message boxes were sealed with sticky tape today! No string! Can you imagine how upset I was? I look forward to a Friday lunch time every week and today was no exception, but when I looked at the boxes I was not pleased. Not pleased at all. In fact, I went and had a sulk as maybe you can see? Hee hee
It had been good fun up till then 'cos I sat with my MH as she watched Andy winning his match and she didn't need to shout at my television very much today which is a lot better for us both 'cos it hurts her voice and my lugs so I am happier when she isn't roaring.
I didn't sit all the time as I kept nipping in and out of my window to get some sunshine on my little body and I was lovely and warm again. One time when I was out, I noticed three or four of these boats passing my window and the old dear told me the navy were sending lots of boats to Orkney for some celebration later on and one like this might come to my little island to let everyone have a look round so my humans are looking forward to that.Maybe my MH will be able to get some pictures for you.
We went into the gym and then played on the grass and that's when she tooked this picture of me and it looks as though there are two Squeaks, sure it does? But there isn't. There is just me, but the old dear tooked it through the window and that is my reflections you see. See?
I am now back in my wee hoose having a rest, but it is a lovely night so I shall soon be heading out into my fields to see what I can find. This is my favourite time of the day and I love it when I can play out as long as I like 'cos the window is open for me to come home whenever I feel like it.
Brilliant!

A Day of Rest
I have been resting for most of the day. Sometimes inside my house buried under one of my blankets but sometimes I went outside and lay on my path where it was lovely and warm. I lay for a long time listening to the birdies and just resting 'cos I was still a wee bit shattered from watching the tennis yesterday and I was thinking that if I was tired just watching, what will Andy be like having played it? And, he has to do it all again tomorrow. I wonder if me and my MH will be strong enough to watch it. I don't know, but I hope so.
My DH was doing lots of work outside so I knew where to go if I needed company and whenever I heard the vacuum cleaner stopping, I would nip inside and get a cuddle from my MH, so I had everything worked out to suit myself, I think.
The sun has been shining all day and I have enjoyed being able to wander through all the long grass without being cold and wet. I watched all the little birdies and sometimes I heard them singing and chirping and that made me happy.
My MH went away out for a while in her little kangaroo and I just lay in my garden waiting for her to come home to me again and by the time she did come back, I was very warm and the old dear giggled when she picked me up for my cuddle 'cos I was a very warm little puss.
A very warm and very happy little Squeak.
Wednesday, 25 May 2016
Phew!
My day started off nice and quiet as usual. Breakfast as soon as we got up, then a trip outside to see what was happening. It was fine but a bit cool, so I was back in just in time for my wee drop of milk from my MH's cereal bowl and then we all had a chat before my DH went away to the Cat Shop.
My MH didn't have much work to do so I asked her to play with me and she did. I was on the top of my bed and she wrapped me up in my blanket and we played the tickle game and then hide and Squeak which is my favourite. We had to stop when the phone rang but all the time she was talking, she was stroking me under my blanket, and I just falled asleep again and stayed there for a long, long time.
When I finally did waken and went to find the old dear, she was watching Andy on my television, so I decided to join her and for a long time I wished I hadn't. Oh dear. What a match. Up and down and down then up and up again until Andy finally won but by this time my MH nearly had no voice from shouting at my television and I was watching from behind the cushions until it was finally Andy's game. Brilliant!
Then, when I was resting and trying to calm down after all that excitement, the little childrens came in for their guitar lesson, so I decided that the quietest place was in my garden and I was off out the window for a while.
I'm afraid I gave one of them a fright 'cos when I plopped back in the window, I sort of landed on J.'s knee and that made him jump but once he saw it was me, he decided he would rather play with me that his guitar and the Boss was not best pleased, so I let him go. Eventually! Hee hee
I am resting now as my house is lovely and quiet again and me and my humans are very happy that Andy won, but I don't know if we are strong enough to watch his next match!

The Bestest Day
That's what I have had. A very good day indeed and it all started off with me being a very helpful puss--as usual.
Both my humans were at home with me and that is always a very good start, but then my MH decided to change the sheets and duvet covers again and that means I have good fun with her and today was no exception. I was very busy helping her by making sure the covers were clean and I did this by looking at the inside and at one point I was so cosy there I nearly falled asleep. But the funniest bit was still to come.
She was going to put the clean pillow slips on and had left them lying on the bed. Now,just before she was going to put a pillow in one, my DH came into the room to talk to her and without looking at the pillow slip, she tried to put the pillow into it and couldn't figure out why it wasn't going in easily. I am sure you can guess why! Yep! A certain adorable little puss was inside it! My DH was nearly on the floor laughing and when my MH finally worked out what had happened, she laughed too.
The rest of my day just got better and I spent most of it playing outside as it was lovely and warm. I helped my MH hang up the washing and managed to climb a few poles while I was waiting for her to finish and that was very good exercise.
I nipped indoors every now and then for a rest and I spent some time in my wee hoose which is lovely and comfortable. My plan for the rest of the evening is a seat beside my MH while she is working on her lap top and then I shall head out into the great big outdoors to see what is happening all round my house before I retire for the evening.
So, when I have a wee think about what I have done, I am inclined to think that this has been just one of my bestest days for a long time. I hope you have had a good day too. I asked the old dear if she would show you the picture of the moon that was shining down on me last night and so here it is. Brilliant, sure it is?

Magic Monday
The sun is still shining and the rain is still not falling. Well, at least not on my little island although my DH heard from somebody in the Cat Shop that while it was sunny on Graemsay it was pouring with rain in Kirkwall, so I guess we were just lucky today.
I was a rather naughty little puss last night 'cos I wakened the old dear up a couple of times when she should have been sleeping and finally she put me in the kitchen and closed the door so that I couldn't get back into the bedroom and disturb her again. BUT, she was still a bit sleepy and didn't close it properly, so once I heard her snoring, I opened said door with my adorable little paw and snuck back in, jumped onto the bed and snuggled up beside her without her even noticing! And when she wakened up and saw me, can you guess what she did? Yep, she just smiled!
We have had a very good day and I played in my garden while my MH hanged out her washing. I had such good fun running and jumping and sniffing all the lovely grass that is growing. I spent most of the day outside and I think I will be staying out late tonight if the weather stays like this.
I just love these long, light nights when I can find a cosy place in the grass to have a rest and listen to the little birdies until it is time to go to bed and go to sleep, so I can't wait to get outside again.

Super Sunday
Guess what? The rain has finally gone away and my little island has been sunny and warm today which made me a very happy puss, and since my MH was able to get the grass all cut for me, she is very happy too.
We had a lazy morning just sitting having a chat and me having my lugs tickled and stroked and then the old dear said to my DH that she would take out the mower, he just shooked his head and said the grass would still be too wet. So, we sat for a wee while longer and then she went and had a feel and decided she would try to play with the mower and soon it was all done and looking good, with me watching as usual. And that's what today's pictures are 'cos I thought you would like to see all my garden. There are three different bits for her to cut and then my DH goes round with the strimmer to make it all lovely and I think you will like it.
I even have a picture of the pesky swallows who left me in peace today. Maybe the peskiest one hasn't come back yet. I hope! But I have a serious story for you today. My MH was my hero and saved my adorable little life.
Picture the scene. There we were in the garden. Her and her mower running round the grass and me sitting on the path just watching her when suddenly there was a doggy in my garden heading straight for me! Oh shock, horror. What was I to do? It was a visitor doggy and didn't know it wasn't supposed to be in my garden.
Well, the old dear leapt into action as quick as lightening and very loudly told the doggy to 'shoo!' and off he went as quick as his legs could take him and I stopped shaking. Especially when I got a very special cuddle from my hero!
Phew!

Something New
I thought I had seen everything and I thought I knew it all. I am six years and five months old now, so I was pretty sure nothing could surprise me, but oh my dear friends I was wrong. Shall I explain? Of course, I shall.
The morning started as usual with us not getting up too early and my MH promising me that all her time would be for me because it was pouring with rain and she knew there was no chance of the mower coming out to play with her, and I for one was very happy with that. My MH on the other paw, was not so happy, but a wee purr and a special look form yours truly can change all that in the wink of an eye. And it did.
So we had a seat and a blether and she tickled my lugs and then two of our friends came in. One was M. who stays near me and the other was a friend of hers who lives very far away but had come to my little island to see her friends and me of course. And this lady is a hairdresser and had come to cut my MH's hair.
Now. I have seen the old dear going on the boat with long hair and coming back with it shorter, but to be honest I had never given it any thought, but today I had a front seat view while it was all taking place in my kitchen and I just watched as all the little bits of hair fell to the floor and I think I must have had a funny look in my adorable little face 'cos all the humans laughed at one point when lots of hair fell down. It was quite an experience but I made sure that the lady with the scissors did not come anywhere near me! I love my little coat just as it is, thank you very much!
That was the only exciting thing to happen today although I managed out a couple of times without getting too wet. The rain has gone off and it is quite a good evening so I shall probably head out quite soon, but I thought you might like to see a picture of this lovely ship which sailed past my window last night.
We all think it is lovely and I hope you like it too.

A Good Day
I have had another good day and the weather hasn't been too bad so I have been able to get out to play a lot. My MH wasn't all that happy though 'cos the grass is getting long and it is still too wet for her to play with her mower, so she was a bit grumpy especially when my little weather man friend told us it was going to rain again so she might not get the grass cut any time soon. Shame!
She was also a tad grumpy 'cos I had eaten a bit of her fish! Now, you know that I am normally a very good little puss, but she had left the fish out to thaw and I could smell it and it was a very good smell. It was all wrapped up, but I managed to make a tiny hole in the bag and had a little nibble, and it was delicious. AND, when my MH found out, she was a wee bit annoyed, but then she just smiled, and we all know why, don't we? 'Cos she loves me MILLIONS!
I went into the gym with her and we had good fun and then played for a while which was great and then there were lots of seats on her knee, so I know I am forgiven.
But then I knew I would be!

Play Time
I have had a very good day. Mainly inside, I must say, as it has been pouring with rain the whole day, but I haven't let it bother me at all.
I was a wee bit naughty through the night 'cos when I wakened up in the middle of the night I had a wee think and found I still had some energy that needed to be used up, so I tried to waken the old dear, but she must have been tired 'cos it took me a long time. I had to bang on the lamp but that didn't work so I jumped up onto the dressing table and clunked the mirror cord and that did the trick!
I knew there was no point asking Brass-Band-Bob 'cos he was snoring and I could do a dance on his head and it still wouldn't waken him up! However, the old dear got up and I did think of going out to play for a while but I looked out of the widow and when I saw the rain, I was back in bed before she closed the window again. Not very happy, I can tell you, but I am worth it!
I asked my MH to play with me this afternoon and we had good fun as you will see from these pictures when I was playing with my wee treats ball. If you look carefully, you will notice that I am ambi-pawed! I can kick my toys with both paws and if you could hear me crunching my little biscuits I am sure it would make you smile.
So, that has been my day and a very good one at that, and I hope you have had a very good day too.

Ding-a-Ling
Yes, you have guessed. I was 'ringing' again last night. Not just one time. Not even two times, but three times I went out in the pouring rain and three times I came home soaking wet with all the rain that was dropping on my little island. My poor old DH was tired getting the towels to make me dry again, but it was my MH who was the crossest, 'cos I came running in the second time and ran right up onto the bed beside her before the old boy had made me dry! Oops. Sorry MH.
I had been inside all day so I had lots of energy to use up before I went to sleep, so I girded my adorable little loins and went out into the weather to have a wander round about but it was so very wet I didn't stay out too long, but as soon as I went home and got dried, I wanted out again.
I think my DH was getting a wee bit fed up with me, but he didn't mind 'cos he loves me too. When I finally decided to stay in for the night I had a wee quick look in the mirror in case I had shrinked 'cos I heard my humans saying that water can make things get littler and I was sort of covered in water, but when I looked I was exactly the same.
Cute and adorable!----Oh, and modest, but you can't see that bit. Hee hee

Today's Picture...
...more or less sums up how I have been today. Sleepy! Mind you, the weather has been rotten again with lots of rain, so I was actually quite happy inside. We didn't even go to the gym 'cos my MH didn't feel like it and she had lots of wee bits of work to do, so she stayed with me and that made it even better.
My DH was at home as well, but he was in and out our greenhouse a lot and I decided just to let him get on with it and I shall have a look at what he has done later. He did get a big bag of compost from the boat so I guess he will be working hard again and there will be lots for me to help him with.
So, maybe it is just as well that I am getting all this rest just now as I will probably be a very busy little puss shortly.

Just Thinking
I am becoming a very lazy little puss. Mind you, the weather isn't exactly making me want to do anything else but be lazy.
I had a long sit on my window sill this morning trying to work out what I was going to do with my day and all the time the wind was blowing outside and the rain was dripping onto my window, so I decided that I would just go back to bed and see if it changed later on. So off I went. I did say a bye bye purr to my DH as he skipped off to the Cat Shop and then I got a big surprise. Breakfast in bed! Well, not exactly a full breakfast as I had already eaten, but my MH came in to see that I was OK and she gave me my wee drop of milk and then I curled up and went to sleep while she hoovered and dusted.
A while later, I heard her calling for me and as the rain had gone off, we went into the gym and while she peddled on her bike, I played in my garden and did my stretches and jumps in order to keep this adorable little body as fit as possible and then me and the old dear sat on my couch for a while.
I got another surprise later on when my friend S. came to see me.I gave her a special purr but I am afraid I was a wee bit rude 'cos I was hungry so I rather loudly asked my MH to feed me and she did. But my friend understands 'cos she loves me.
I am not a very vocal cat. I purr a lot. I purr an AWFUL lot and I make wee squeaking noises, but I don't meow much so it was quite a surprise to the old dear when I spoke to her, but she liked it 'cos she loves me MILLIONS!
I am a very lucky puss, sure I am?

So.....
.... off they went to the party last night and I was left all alone and as I told you yesterday, it was too windy to leave the window open for me, so I had no other option but to have a sleep. I could have watched the Eurovision song contest, but I didn't know how to switch on my television. I shall have to watch carefully in future.
As soon as they came home---and they weren't too late, I must say---I was off out into the night and I'm afraid I got a wee shock 'cos the nice farmer lady next door had moved all her sheeps and lambs and there was nobody for me to play with. Shame.
I had a wee wander to see if I could find them, but it was a tad on the cold side, so I just went home and because I was so disappointed, my MH gave me a special cuddle and then we went to bed. Earlier in the evening she had taken a picture of the clouds and she thought you might like to see what we saw.
We have all had a very quiet day today although my MH was a bit busy helping our friend S. clean up the Hall after the party and then she went with my friend M. to the graveyard, so as soon as she came in, I sat on her knee so that she wouldn't leave me again. Clever or what?
So, there is no news except to tell you that I am happy and that I have had a good day and I hope you are happy too.

A Cool Day
But not 'cool' in a good way. No, it has been cool in a cold way and after all the lovely days we have had, me and my humans are not best pleased, but my little weather man friend said that there is a lot of cold air coming to us from way up in the north of the world, so I am hoping it might go back again and let me enjoy some more warm times. Please?
I did go out for a short while last night but just long enough to see the little lambs and then I went home again and as soon as I went in, my DH put off all the lights and went to bed, so that was me in for the night. It was not what I had intended but when the humans are a-bed, there is no point in arguing with them. That I have learned!
It has been a quite and a lazy day, but me and the old dear did nip into the gym for a while and she caught me having this lovely stretch again---and that was before I even went near the treadmill! Hee hee
I am being abandoned this evening 'cos they are going to a party in the Hall and as usual, I can't go. It was my friend S.'s birthday a while ago, but she was on holiday and decided to have a party tonight, so they are off and I am to be left in the house and as the wind is blowing, the window will have to be closed. Ho hum
I guess I shall just have to have a snooze till they come home and then I shall get out for a while,I hope. I shall tell you tomorrow.

Back to Normal
Both my humans were here with me and it was string day, so I was a happy Squeak. The only thing that upset me was that all the lovely heat has gone away and it is cold again. I almost asked my MH to find me a wee coat, but then I had a better idea. So, when she sat down,I cuddled up beside her. Magic!
My DH played with me for a long time with a big bit of string and I liked it lots. I did go out to play a couple of times but I wasn't really very happy, so I had a quick look at the little lambs and then nipped back inside again.
So, apart from that, I have spent most of my day sleeping. Either on my MH's knee or on one of my many resting places. I will go out later on, but I think I shall only stay out for a little while and then jump onto the bed beside my MH for a good night's sleep.
Yes. Definitely back to normal.

A No News Day
'And why is there no news?' I hear you all ask, and of course I shall tell you. My MH was going away to Kirkwall and my DH was supposed to be going with her, but he has got a cold, so he didn't go. That's what he told her, but I think he didn't want to leave me on my own which was very fine by me. I'm never frightened on my own 'cos my little island is very safe and I know everybody and they all love me, but I prefer when I have human company.
So, off she went and yours truly nipped out of the window 'cos it was another lovely, warm day and just a day for being in the fresh air. I can't tell you exactly what I did 'cos it is only my MH who knows what I do, but I can tell you what she did 'cos she told me. See?
She had a lovely day with our friends P. and M. from the island and she tooked her camera with her so that you could see some of what she saw.
There are lots of little birdies all over our island and there are lots of little sea birdies as well and these two are guillemots and my MH told me that they have little red feets and I really like that idea. Maybe the next time my humans have paint out, I will dip my little paw into it and see which colour might suit me best, eh?
This other birdie is a type of cormorant or shag as they are called here and he is a big birdie. The special thing about shags is that after they have been in the water, they have to jump onto a big rock and stretch their wings out to dry, but she didn't get a picture of them doing that. Maybe another time.
This is our big lighthouse and our friends P. and M.live there and some of the little childrens who come for guitar lessons live next door.
This last picture is of the Weeping Window at Kirkwall Cathedral and it is a poppy display which started in London as a much bigger display, but then some of the poppies were sold and these ones are going on a tour and my MH wanted to see them. She said they were lovely and she might show you some more of her pictures another time.
So, although there is no news about what I did today, there is a wee bit of other news for you, which I hope you like, and I shall be back tomorrow.

Glorious
I think this must be summer and if it is, I am just loving it. It has been sunny and hot and a day where we have all been outside. My MH sat with me on our bench this afternoon and we watched all the little lambs. They are so beautiful and I love watching them playing. I am so happy for them that they are having good weather to grow up in and I hope it lasts for a long time.
I don't have much news 'cos apart from lying on my path and wandering round my garden, I haven't really done very much at all, but I did see another two baby sheeps being borned. A black one and a white one, so I shall keep my eye on them tonight when I go out later.
I stayed out late last night and my humans just left the window open for me and I like being able to wander home whenever I feel like it without my DH having to come and whistle for me. Me and my MH had a wee wander out last night before bedtime and she tooked this picture of the sky for you. I like it and I hope you do too. The other one is of one of my little lamb friends and I am sure you can guess what the third one is! Hee hee

Another Super Day
It has been a lovely day on my little island. The sun has been shining and it has been lovely and warm, so I have spent most of the time just lying on my path watching the little baby sheeps and helping my DH with all his work outside. When we were out, we saw Mr. Pheasant in the field and I thought you might like to see him, so here he is.
The old boy decided---well, my MH helped him decide--- to put out all our little garden ornaments and that kept him busy for most of the afternoon which meant I had lots of company whenever I wanted it, so I have had a very good day indeed.I even went into the gym with my MH, but just for a little while as it was so lovely outside and I needed another roll on my grass.
My little sheep friends are getting bigger and it was brilliant fun watching them running about together. In fact, I was a wee bit jealous and would have liked to be running about with them, but I decided just to watch 'cos I don't want to frighten them.
I am having my after dinner rest now, but I know I shall be going out later on and I am hoping that my MH might come out with me like she did last night. We both went out to watch the sunset and I asked her to play with me which she did, so we were out a long time and it was brilliant.
I sat with her until she put out her light and then I was off outside again but this time on my own and I stayed out for a long time until I was a wee bit tired, but I had good fun and I have had even gooder fun today.
I wonder what tomorrow will be like. Oh, I can hardly wait!

Quite a Day
I was hardly up this morning when the nice vet man came to my house. Now, before you wonder what has happened to the real Squeak, don't worry, it is me. The vet is a very nice man and I like him, I just don't like what he does to me, and I know I can hear you all telling me it is for my own good, but I don't have to like it, do I?
So, anyway. In he came just as I was finishing my breakfast 'cos I didn't get up very early, you see, and he plonked me up on the table to get a better look. I wasn't frightened 'cos my MH was there beside me all the time and as soon as the vet saw me he said I was beautiful, so I knew he was a nice man. He feeled all over my adorable little tummy and looked at my teeth, and I didn't even try to bite him. I think he appreciated that! Then he put his stethoscope thingy on me and listened to my little chest and said everything was fine but then he tooked out one of his ginormous needles and headed towards me brandishing it in the air and I have to admit that my little legs were a wee bit shaky when I saw it, but the old dear was holding me so I didn't disgrace myself and I still pretended to be brave.
He stuck the needle in at the back of my neck and it was so big that I thought it might come out the front, and I did have a wee feel with one of my little paws just in case, but naturally there was nothing there and to be honest, I didn't really feel anything so as soon as he was finished, I gave him one of my special purrs and he smiled at me.
The rest of my day went well although I have been a bit tired but I helped my MH cut our grass and then I had a roll on it and it was lovely and warm 'cos the sun was shining. I lay there for a long time just watching all the little lambs jumping and playing and it made me very happy.
The sun is still shining and my little island is lovely and warm, so after I have had a nap, I shall be heading outside and I think my humans will be able to leave the window open for me, so I shall probably stay out quite late I think.
I just love when the sun is shining so I hope it stays like this for a long, long time.
