Hello

Just a wee message to wish everybody a very happy new year from me and my humans.

I'm Back

.… and I have had a very good time indeed and I hope that you had a good time too. I did manage to sleep on Christmas Eve and so I didn't see Santa when he comed to my house but I did see what he left for me and my humans and it made us all very happy.

I have sended you a picture of my Christmas stocking filled with goodies for my adorable little tummy and on Christmas day I got a very special dinner which I just loved plus my MH played with me every time I asked her and I had to ask her lots of times 'cos the weather on my little island hasn't been very good. In fact, it has been pretty awful and to tell the truth I haven't felt like going out much but because I don't know if I will go out until one of my humans has held the door open for me kind of upsets them a little. I think it might have something to do with all the rotten weather rushing into my house and making it cold, and because most of the times I decide not to bother going out and then they have to close the door again until I decide to see if the weather is better about five minutes later. Oh dear, maybe I need to have a wee think about my going out....or not!...habits, eh?

Apart from that, we have all had a lovely time and my friend S. comed to see me yesterday and gave me a great big Christmas cuddle which made me very happy.

I hope you are all as happy as me.

Two More Sleeps

I am very excited 'cos my MH told me it is just two more sleeps till Santa comes. Yippee! The only problem is that I am so excited that I don't think I will sleep. Oh dear.

I have had a very good day just nipping in and out to my garden but it is so cold I had to nip back inside again very quickly! Hee hee

I don't have any news for you but I am very happy indeed. I have had lots of sniffs at my present so I have a rough idea what is in it and I can't wait until the Boss lets me open it, then I will tell you what is in it. OK?

Still Happy

I am having a good time but I haven’t been out very much because it is still very cold on my little island but not freezing cold and we are all very happy about that, but it is still too cold for me to be out for a long time.

I am very happy inside my house because I have lots of toys and some new ones too and every time I ask my MH to play with me, she stops what she is doing and we have great fun doing whatever I want. I just love it.

I was left on my own for a while on Friday night because it was the Christmas party on my island and Santa comed to see all the childrens. And guess what? He bringed me a present too!! Yippee!

When I wakened up on Saturday morning it was under my Christmas tree and I had a wee sniff at it but the Boss won’t let me open it until Christmas and I am getting very excited.

In case I don’t write to you for a wee while, me and my humans hope you have a lovely Christmas and that 2020 will be a brilliant year for us all.

Just For You

I don't have very much news for you today but I wanted to show you some pictures so I asked my MH to help me and of course she did. It has been a good day on my little island but it is still very cold although not too cold to freeze the old dear's car and that made her happy. I have been out lots of times but just for little minutes in case I freeze too. That would just be awful, sure it would?

I have been liking playing in my house 'cos I have some new toys that I just love so I have been quite busy playing but now I am in my favouritist position which is on my MH's knee with my adorable little head on her lap top watching all these words jumping on to the screen and I like that.

My friend J. sended me two mouses and my friend the postie man bringed them to my house and I was so excited when my MH opened it and let me play with them. It was just magic, so thank you very much J. In case you are worried, the mouses aren't real. They are cloth with catnip stuff inside them. OK?

The other present I got was inside the box of Dreamies that the old dear buyed for me and she filled it up with Dreamies so that I could get them out again and eat them all up. Brilliant!

So, now you will know why I am such a happy puss, but I hope you are happy too.

A Wee Story

We all wakened up very early in this morning ‘cos my humans wanted to go shopping in Kirkwall and they needed to get the early boat. It was still dark like night time when we got up and I went out for a little play but I comed back very quickly ‘cos it was very, very cold.

Well, after my MH told me she loved me millions and that they would be home soon, they went away and I went back to my little bed. I hadn’t even started my dream when the door opened and they comed back in again! I was a tad confused until my MH told me that it was so cold that her wee car had frozen and she couldn’t drive it. The back doors wouldn’t open and her windscreen was covered in thick white frost and she couldn’t see and we both agreed that driving when you can’t see is not the bestest idea.

My humans stayed with me until her car would let her see out of its windows again and then they went away on the second boat, so I was only left all alone for a little while and that made me a wee bit happier.

It is still very cold on my little island so I think my MH’s car might be frozen again tomorrow. Oh dear!

Windless!

So, I wakened up early in this morning and I listened. I didn't hear anything, so I rubbed my adorable little lugs and listened some more but still I didn't hear anything so I decided that the awful wind had gone away some other place and I was very happy indeed.

I was so happy that I wakened my MH 'cos I wanted out to do some hunting and exploring before the wind comed back again. I was a tad disappointed that the old dear wasn't as happy as me, but then maybe that was because it was sort of very early in this morning. In fact, it was nearly still the middle of the night time! Oops, sorry MH. I don't need to tell you that she got up and let me out for a little time, sure I don't?

Anyway, the wind stayed away all day and I managed out to play lots of times but when I comed home again, me and my MH played with my toys and I liked that lots and lots. And so did she, so we are both happy today.

Yippee!

A Brilliant Night

I had the brilliantest night in my house last night and I just loved it. We had some peoples in for their dinner and then when they were all finished eating, it was time for me to play musical knees but without the music bit....Hee hee!

There were six sets of knees to explore and since everybody thought I was just adorable, I had a super duper night being stroked and cuddled and played with and then when I got a wee bit sleepy with all this adoration, I nipped up onto my MH’s knee for a snooze and everybody said ‘Aaaww, that is so cute!’....which it was of course.

One of our friends found some of my toys and we played together for ages which made me a very happy puss indeed. So that’s why I had a very good night.

Exciting Times

I don't know if I told you, but it is my birthday very soon and I will be ten years old, but my humans say I am just a ten year old kitten 'cos I still love to play....lots!

Yesterday was a special day in my house 'cos we put up my birthday tree with all the little shiny baubles and things and I liked that. It looks lovely and it is all sparkly with ornaments and tinsel and lights on it and I have been looking at it lots 'cos I like it, and I asked the old dear to take a picture of it for you which she did.

I am now resting because all this birthday tree building and watching has made me a very tired puss.... but a very happy one too.

Ding Dong

Remember I told you there was tons of rain on my little island? Well, there were even more tons today and guess who was outside in it all? Yes, me, Squeak and when I finally went home I was so ringing with wetness that I am sure my neighbours could hear me.

Not only that, but there was no more room on my adorable little body for all the wetness and it started dripping on my floor and there was a ginormous puddle under me!

My dear old MH was a wee bit very upset for me but she just got a great big bath towel and cuddled me dry again and I gave her a very special ‘thank you’ purr and that made her very happy.

So maybe the rain isn’t too bad after all! Hee hee

….. how do you spell cute? I think when you see these pictures of me you will spell it S,Q,U,E,A,K!! Hee hee

My humans were watching our television on Sunday night and suddenly I noticed some baby bears and I decided to watch too and I liked it lots, but sure I am as cute as them? And maybe not so dangerous!

I was left all alone in my house yesterday as my DH was at the Cat Shop as usual and my MH was away to Kirkwall to meet her friends but then I got a great big surprise when they comed back to me because they brought my birthday present with them and I just love it. I know it is a bit early because I am not ten until some more days but I couldn't wait and my humans let me play with my new tunnel.

It is brilliant and I love it millions.
