Painting!

Yep. The paint brushes are out again and my bedroom is an absolute tip! My humans have been busy all day shifting furniture and painting walls so the house is a mess again and I have been left to my own devices for a lot of the time but it has been quite good fun too.

There are lots of dust sheets all over the furniture and I decided to hide under one of them and my humans didn't know where I was and it was great fun. I lay very, very still and I could hear them calling for me and I stayed where I was BUT my wagger gave me away again, 'cos I was so happy playing that my little tail started wagging all by itself and it gave the game away and my humans found me.

I was able to go outside for a while with my MH 'cos my DH was painting the ceiling and me and my MH went outside for a wee play and for some fresh air, so the painting hasn't been too bad at all and they have told me that it will be even better tomorrow.

Not Again!!

Yes. The pesky painters are at it again and this time it is our bedroom! Just when I was beginning to relax and enjoy my adorable little self again, my MH started packing away all the things from our bedroom and she told me that the painting was going to start tomorrow. Oh joy!!

There are lots of soft toys on top of the wardrobe and they all belong to my MH and she took them all off today and put them in black sacks so that they wouldn't get painted. There are lots of little ones, but the two in today's picture are the biggest and they wouldn't go into sacks, so we just sat them on the bed and I cuddled up beside them which was nice.

The teddy bear is about 45 years old and is called Phredd and he growls if you turn him over and he is my MH's favourite. The hippo is called Dounby 'cos my MH won him at the Dounby Show which is a farmers show and takes place every year and farmers take and show all their animals and some win prizes, and there are lots of stalls selling all kinds of things and my MH won Dounby in a raffle and brought him home.

My MH likes all her soft toys but she loves me the best, so that is OK.

What a Day!

It is a super day and I have been a very busy puss helping my humans do all their work. The weather is very good, so my DH is doing all his work on the guttering and he has been in and out of the big shed, and I went with him to see what was there. It was heaven! Lots of pussy cat smells and sounds of little mouses and I was able to explore for a long, long time before I had to go and help my MH feed the birdies.

We have a bird table at the back of the house and one at the front and that is the one the birdies use a lot and I can watch them from my living room window, but they don't use the one at the back just so much. Maybe it's because I play there a lot and the birdies don't know I wouldn't hurt them. I hope they use it in the summer when all the other birdies come back.

My DH put out these two pretend birdies and I like to play with them and I think I look very fetching sitting beside them in today's picture.

Normality Rules

Yes. Everything is my house is just normal again and we have been doing all the things that we like doing.

My MH was up very early today and I went out to play before half past seven in the morning! I had a wee chat with the sheeps, but I was back on my couch before my MH came home a couple of hours later, but I did run to meet her and she likes that.

She played with me for a long time and then we both had a wee sleep 'cos we had been up too early! My DH has been working outside 'cos he got new guttering for round my house and he was fixing that up, and of course, I had to have a look to see what he was doing, but it was a wee bit too cold for me, so after a quick look, I nipped back inside.

I hope we stay normal tomorrow!

A Better Day

My living room is back to normal again and I have been playing with my toys and sleeping on my couch, so my little life is also back to normal.

My humans have been working very hard and are quite tired now so I have been looking after them. I went outside with my MH when she was hanging out her washing and I played on the grass with her for a wee while. I even climbed the clothes poles which made her laugh out loud.

We have three concrete clothes poles and if I get a good run at them, I can get right up to the top and I hang on there for a while and then jump down onto the grass and it is great fun and that is what I was doing today.

I hope I can do it again tomorrow.

Nearly!

I almost left home today, but stopped just in the nick of time!

As you know, my humans have been decorating my living room and I do not like it one wee bit, and I thought I might look for a new place to live, and was just about to start packing up all my little toys and all my food, when things took a remarkable turn!

The paint rollers and paint tins got put away and suddenly all the furniture and all my toys came back out again and got put in their correct place and we could all sit in my living room again, so I decided not to pack and move out after all.

We are nearly back to normal and my MH even had time to play with me and tickle my adorable little tummy, so I am feeling quite happy again and glad I don't need to move out.

What would my humans do without me? Today's picture is me trying to keep the roller away from my MH, but I failed I am afraid.

Not Happy!

I am not a happy puss! I am even thinking of leaving home! My house is a tip and I do not know what my humans are doing but they are making such a mess doing it that I do not know where to turn.

They are making the walls of my living room a different colour and they have both been playing with paint brushes, so there hasn't been a lot of time to play with me. Mind you, there is no room to play with me!

At least the weather has been good and I have been able to get out to play, but I am frightened that they move my window and I can't get back in again!

I will stay for a couple of more days and see what happens but if it doesn't improve I am off!
