WELL.....

....it is a good job my DH did all his outside jobs yesterday 'cos the horrible wind is back and it would have blowed him off his ladder and I know he wouldn't have liked that one wee bit!

He stayed indoors and watched some football and that made him happy and my MH was happy too just doing odds and ends about the house.

I was quite happy but I was a wee bit fed up 'cos I couldn't get out to play but my MH played with me in the house and cuddled my adorable little tummy and, as you know, that always makes me very happy.

I did some of my exercises by racing round my house and jumping over some of the furniture and then diving on to the back of the couch where my MH was sitting and then I leaned over and licked her ear and that made her giggle. It was a very good game.

I wonder what I will do tomorrow?

Much Livlier

I have had a much better day today after my day of rest yesterday. I am bouncing with energy and have been very busy doing lots of things.

The wind has disappeared and my DH has been fixing the guttering and it is all done now, so he is happy. He wasn't a happy DH earlier on when I climbed up the ladder behind him and he got a fright when he turned round and there I was! It was quite funny and I am sure he will giggle when he stops shaking!

I helped my MH empty out all the rubbish and then we fed the birdies and I liked that, and then I saw the lady farmer going to feed the sheeps, so I went to have as look and a wee chat, and she gave me a wee pat and said I was a 'good puss'. I knew this already, of course, but it is always nice when someone else recognises that I am indeed a good puss.

I had some 'me' time and went and played in the long grass and sniffed and explored and did lots of pussy cat things, so it has been a very good day indeed.

I am going to have a wee snooze now and I think I will go out hunting again when it gets dark. I like being out in the dark and am not frightened at all 'cos as well as being a good puss, I am also a very brave puss.

Perfection is looming!

Lazy Puss

I have done very little today as I have been feeling a bit lazy. It is still cold and snowy so not too great for puss cats being outside, so I have stayed indoors most of the day, although I had a wee quick trip outside to say hello to the sheeps.

My DH went over to Stromness this afternoon and brought back lots of goodies for me and my MH and while he was away, me and my MH were working in the study. Well---she was doing some more cards and I was supervising and lying on the big black chair and having a wee snooze at the same time.

After that, I lay on the couch and watched as my MH played on her Wii, but I was too tired to interfere today, so she managed to win at tennis. Sometimes she loses 'cos I jump up in front of the television to try and catch the ball.

She gets a tad annoyed at me when I do that, but I like it, so there!

More Cold Feets

It has been a good day but there is still some snow on the ground, so I have had little cold feets every time I go out to play, so when I come in, I sit on my MH's knee until they warm up again, and by that time, her knee is cold!

I have been out a lot and I have helped the lady farmer shift one of her sheeps which was just outside my gate. She was trying to get it to go into the field, and I just wandered up beside her and did one of my 'meows' and it helped her get the sheep where it should have been.

After that, and a wee seat on my MH's knee, I went into the greenhouse with my DH to see what he was doing. He is making a wee unit for the bedroom and had been sawing some wood, and as I am a very inquisitive pussy cat, I had a wee sniff at the sawdust and then I got a big surprise 'cos it made me sneeze and sneeze and sneeze and my DH had a wee chuckle.

I'll not do that again!

Peace

It has been lovely and peaceful in my house today 'cos my humans have been resting after all their hard work and that meant that they had much more time to play with me and make a fuss of me, which, as you know, I was born for!

We all had a good night's sleep and me and my MH had to get up about four o'clock in the morning, and I will leave you to guess why!, but when we got back into bed, we had a nice girlie chat and she tickled my adorable little tummy as I was lying on her tummy (not quite as adorable as mine, but quite comfortable!) and we both fell asleep again and didn't get up too early so I was well rested and full of beans when I got up.

When I got up and looked out of the window, I got quite a shock 'cos there was some snow lying on the ground, but not enough to play in, so I just watched it from my living room window which was a good idea 'cos the wind was blowing a lot and it was very cold too, and just a day for puss cats to be indoors!

All Finished!

The painting is all finished and all the paint pots and rollers have been put away, and according to my humans, they are away for a LONG time!

Today was spent cleaning my bedroom and putting everything back in its place, so we have been very busy and I have been playing hide and seek in the duvet which I just love.

My house is all back to normal now and my humans will have plenty of time to play with me which is just as it should be so the next few days should be very good indeed.

I am looking forward to it all.
