Boy oh boy!

What a Sunday night! Me and my humans sat watching Andy on my television winning his tennis match and it was just brilliant and doubly brilliant 'cos my MH didn't need to chew on my adorable little claws. Hee hee. Now, I know you will be wondering why she needs MY claws. Well it is because she has no nails of her own left having watched all his other matches. See? Don't worry, that's just my little joke! But it was a brilliant match and we are all very happy for Andy.

It was nearly a normal Monday when my DH got all ready to go to the Cat Shop but then felt a wee bit not too well so he just went back to bed but he is feeling better now. I helped my MH do all her housework and we both went outside for a while and I liked that lots.

It was quite a good day on my little island so I was able to get out to play lots of times and although I got cold and my adorable little feets got wet on the grass, I still liked it and I will be heading out again after I have had my after dinner snooze.

Yippee!

A Funny Sunday

You all know that Sunday in my house is usually a very lazy day, but not today. My MH was very busy washing lots of dishes from last night's party in the Hall, but she talked to me when I went to see her and that made her happy.

My humans were out very late last night and because it was so cold, they had to close the window and I had to stay inside but I did get out to play when they comed home again, but my MH told me a funny thing. She said to be careful 'cos Jack Frost was outside. Well, I looked and looked but I couldn't see him. All I did see was lots of very cold white stuff on my grass and paths. It wasn't snow but it was just as cold and I had to keep moving or I would have sticked to the path, so needless to say, I didn't stay outside too long and nipped back in to sit with my MH for a while before we went to bed. She told me that the party had been very good and she had sore feets with dancing but she like it lots.

We didn't get up too early and when I went outside I looked for Mr. Frost again but he still wasn't in my garden. Maybe it was too cold for him. A wee while later, our friend N. brought my MH boxes and boxes of dishes to do. I know you will be asking why and I will tell you. You knew I would, didn't you? You see, there are only two dishwasher machines on my little island. We have one and my friend S. has the other, so they do all the dishes after our parties. See?

So that's what we did this afternoon and then the old dear needed a long seat so I sat with her and purred a lot. Then tonight we watched Andy winning his match and we were both very happy when he won. Well done Andy.

So, although it has been a different Sunday, it has been a good one for us and I hope it has been a good one for you too.

A wee short message

My MH is busy this afternoon getting ready for going out tonight and watching Andy on my television, so this is just a very short message to let you know we are all very well.

It is very cold on my little island but it is dry and not windy so my wee MH won't get blowed away when she goes out tonight and that is good.

I have been out a few times and there is a little mouse in my honeysuckle bush but it won't come out to play with me. I sat there for ages until my MH thought I had frozen to the spot but I was very fine and nipped home without said mouse.

I will have more news for you tomorrow but I hope you have a good weekend.

Well...

...... I know where there is snow. I can see it from my house but I don't think I can get to it easily. I shall explain. There is lots of snow on the Hoy hills and these hills are on the island next to mine, so if I want to get there I would have to sneak away on the boat and there is the tiny, tiny snag 'cos if I tried to get on the boat somebody would see me and take me back to my humans 'cos everybody on my little island knows me and they all know where I should be, so my chances of getting to Hoy are just about none! Oh dear. I guess I shall have to wait until the snow comes to me.

I have had a fine day and although it has been cold, I have still been out lots of times but my humans have noticed that my times out are getting shorter and shorter and they know that it is too cold for me to stay out long. I comed home last night and when I nipped in the window, my MH lifted me up like she always does and she got a shock when she feeled my adorable little feets 'cos they were freezing! But she cuddled me close for a long time and soon I was warm again. She is thinking about little boots again, but since it hasn't happened in all the years I have been a puss here I don't think it will happen this year. But one never knows, does one?

Me and my MH watched Andy winning his match and we were very happy so we will watch him again tomorrow with our fingers crossed. I am be left on my own tomorrow night because it is the island's Harvest Home and both my humans will be out all night. My MH has told me she will cuddle me or play with me---or maybe both!-- in the afternoon and then make sure that I can have a special time when she comes home so I am OK with that.

We will be very busy on Sunday catching up with Strictly and watching tennis. I might not have time to go out to play so I hope it doesn't snow on Sunday 'cos I just don't have time for it. Can it please wait till Monday, little weather man friend?

Sigh!

I had a very good sleep and when I wakened up I scooted to my window only to find that all the snow had disappeared! I was not a happy Squeak. Not happy at all. However, a wee cuddle and a scritch from my MH and all was well again.

We had quite a night on my little island last night 'cos there was thunder and lightning as well as lots and lots of hail and it was quite frightening. Me and the old dear were sitting on my couch---well, she was on the couch and I was on her, ok?-- and suddenly there was a ginormous rumble which made us both jump. I didn't know my MH could jump that high. Hee hee After that there was lightning and more rumbles and it wasn't very nice at all. Fortunately it didn't last too long and it went away to rumble someplace else, but we didn't like it at all.

I still managed out for a little while before bedtime, but I didn't stay out too long in case the rumbles comed back again. I was soon cosied up beside the old dear and we had a very good sleep but I was looking forward to playing in the snow and it wasn't there when I got up. Maybe tomorrow.

I still have had a good day just nipping in and out whenever I felt like it and my humans were always there for me whenever I nipped back in again, which I liked a lot.

Guess What?

There is snow on my little island! Yippee!! Not an awful lot of snow you understand. Not enough to build a snow man yet, but enough to make these four adorable little paws be freezing cold when I venture out and I have ventured out a lot today. Oh I am a happy, happy Squeak.

My DH wasn't feeling very well today so he stayed home with me and my MH and I had to look after him for a while but he is feeling better now so I must have done a very good job. The old dear decided to have a day off all her work so there was plenty of time for me.

It was my MH who told me it was snowing 'cos I was having one of my many cat naps and she comed and founded me and told me that it was starting to snow and by the time I got through to my living room, the hail was banging against my window and my DH couldn't hear the radio. Shame.

I sat on the window sill and just watched all the weather but as soon as as all the hail stopped rattling down I was off out into the snow and I liked it but oh dear my little feets were so, so cold. I didn't stay out very long and as soon as I went inside I got a great big cuddle to warm me up and that was so very good.

I have been out lots of times but just for very little times 'cos it is still cold and it is quite windy too. I am hoping that when I get up in the tomorrow morning, my little island will be covered in snow.

That will make me a very happy little Squeak indeed.

Just Normal

I don't have an awful lot to tell you just now because I am not doing very much. It is colder on my little island and most of the cows are away into the barns for the winter. Some of the sheeps are still in the fields, but my adorable little paws get all cold and mucky when I go to see them so there is not much more for me to do.

I normally just stay round about my house and although I have a big garden to play in, I prefer heading into the long grass where I can hide and watch the world go by and the world can't see me. I did that this morning and stayed out so long that my MH was getting worried about me, but as usual I was safe and comed home just in time to help her.

When I nipped in through the window, she was nowhere to be seen, so I wandered into the bedroom and found her changing the beds again and you know it is my job to help her with that, and that is just what I did and we both had great fun doing it.

The rest of my day was spent doing more of the same. Just helping my MH or watching her as she did her cards and then I had a lovely little snooze on my couch which I loved.

So, although I'm not doing very much I am still having a good time and I hope you are having a good time too.
