Much Better

Yes. My day has been much better so far with most of the attention focusing on me which is as it should be.

It is another lovely day and my humans have been out in the garden and of course I go out and play with them, and I just love that. We have a garden bench and every year my DH paints it and my MH varnishes it and today was varnishing day, so I went for a close inspection of what she was doing, and I nearly had a VERY nasty accident 'cos when my MH put some varnish on, I went to jump up for a closer look, but my MH grabbed me and put me down on the ground, and then she told me why.

Oh dear, I nearly landed on the varnish and I could have been stuck there for ever and ever! I would have become a garden ornament. I still shake when I think what a narrow escape I had. I wonder if I would still get fed if I WAS an ornament?

After that, I went round to see what my DH was doing 'cos he was painting the outside of the gym, but I stayed well away from the paint. Just in case! That is what today's picture is.

I am having a very good day and I think I will stay outside for a long, long time. It is my favourite place when the sun is shining.

Hmmm!

Well, there seems to have been some kind of wedding on today, and my MH and her friend have been watching the television ALL morning and of course, they haven't had too much time for me, so I went out to play with some of the little sheeps.

My DH went over to Stromness to do some shopping 'cos he didn't want to see the wedding so maybe he will play with me when he comes home.

So I don't have very much news for you today, but I am hoping that my MH will play with me in a wee while and we might even go out into the garden and play.

I will tell you tomorrow.

An outdoor pussycat

That is what I have become in this good weather. I am having the time of my little life playing outside with all the little animals and having a wee chat with them.

My MH was away swimming again today, but we didn't have any orders 'cos my DH has lots to do outside and I was helping him. We have been putting out all the garden ornaments and we have been getting the greenhouse ready for all the tomatoes and peppers, so there is a lot of work to be done.

I watched what he was doing and I helped him lots before going and having a wee play and having a sniff and an explore. I went into my house for something to eat and drink and I went in the window and out the door, and then the next time, I went in the door and out of the window.

I like variety in my life!

Choices

I went outside to play this morning and I had to decide which way to go and who to play with 'cos there are sheeps in the field on one side of my house and baby cows at the other side, so it was a bit of a dilemma.

However, I decided to spend a wee while with the sheeps and then some time with the cows and I had good fun.

My MH was away out for a wee while and when she came home, instead of playing with me, she took out the lawn mower! I was not best pleased, I can tell you, but the cows were 'cos when she empties the bag, she puts the grass over the fence and they like to eat it, so it is as well that the lawn mower makes something happy!

She did play with me when she was finished, though and that made me happy. I like when she plays with me, and she does it lots of times, especially when I ask her so nicely!!

I am a very polite little pussy cat.

Lonely

My humans had to go away into Kirkwall today.so I was left all alone in my house, but as the weather is still good,they were able to leave the window open for me, so I nipped in and out lots of times.

I have been watching the baby sheeps and I just LOVE their antics. There are some black one and some white ones and they all gang up and run round and round the field while all the mummy sheeps just watch. It is just beautiful.

I played with my humans when they came home but just for a wee while 'cos we were all a bit tired. They had done lots of shopping and I had done lots of playing, so we are all having a rest now, but I might go out later on and watch the sheeps again.

It is not getting dark until quite late now, so I can see quite well when I am out late and I like that and then when I get tired, I just nip in my window and curl up on my MH's knee and have a wee sleep and we both like that.

A Brill Day

The sun has been shining all day and I have had a ball! I have been in the fields with the baby sheeps and I have had a super time. The mummy sheeps didn't mind me being there as long as I didn't get too close, but I watched all the baby sheeps running round the field and jumping all over the place. One even jumped and turned right round in the air! I am going to try and do that tomorrow.

Then when I came home, I got a surprise 'cos my DH was putting out all the summer garden ornaments, and he put out the big jug which has water coming out of it.

I had forgotten all about this one and then I remembered that I like having a drink out of it, and that's what I did.

My humans laugh at me 'cos when I am having a drink, I put one of my paws in the water and stir it up while I am drinking and they think this is really funny. I don't know whay.

I hope it is a good day tomorrow.

I am having lots of fun playing with all the baby sheeps and sitting on my window sill watching all the birdies, and then when I go inside, my humans play with me, so it is a good Easter Sunday for me.

My MH opened her Easter egg and it is beautiful, so she will be eating lots of it, and I think we might be spending a lot of time in the gym again! My DH doesn't like a lot of chocolate and that is why he is skinny. My MH DOES like a lot of chocolate and that is why she is ----well, not skinny!!

I got some wee Easter treats too, but they weren't chocolate. They were treats for adorable puss cats like me and I liked them.

Yes, it has been a good Easter day.
