LOOK!

This is what I saw out of my living room window this afternoon! The nice farmer from next door came round in his great big tractor and lifted all my DH's chips over our fence for him, and my DH helped him---but just a wee bit.

This will save his little legs from working too hard when he is doing the garden. My MH has bought a happy Buddha for the garden when it is all finished, and I have had a wee chat with him already and we are going to get along just fine.

I like when all the ornaments are in my garden in the Spring and Summer 'cos it is something else for me to play with. There is a bird bath at one side, and I have a wee drink out of that every day, and there is a fountain thingy at the other side, and I sometimes paddle in it and have a drink there too, so I have lots of choices.

I was in the garden with my DH today and I helped a lot and then I went into the gym with my MH and watched her as she went on her bike, then I climbed up the wall and this made her laugh.

I like when I make her laugh as it usually means I get a treat when we go inside! I like treats.

The weather is good today so I have been out lots, but I am having a rest just now, as I am intending to go out hunting until it is very late tonight. I was inside too long yesterday, so I need to get rid of all of my energy, and night time is just the time to do it.

Good news/ Bad news

Well, as you are reading all about me, you will probably have worked out that my humans didn't go away all day, and I wasn't left on my own. That is the good news.

The bad news is that they went away for PART of the day, but I wasn't left alone too long.

NOW! I think I was partly the cause of their change of plan 'cos I seem to have perfected my weather dance. When I heard they were thinking of going to Thurso on the big boat from Stromness, I knew they would be away a long time, so I decided to give my weather dance another try-----and it worked!

I wish you could have seen me, dear reader. I was whirling round and round my living room throwing in a couple of adorable little bum wiggles for good measure and at one point I nearly tripped over my tail, I was going so fast! I am sure that my tail and my head were on the same side of my body at one point. I was a picture.

Well, the weather this morning wasn't very good at all and so my humans decided that they would just stay in Orkney and go to Kirkwall so they were home again at half past four and I have been adored ever since.

More oh dear!

It is still not a good day, so we have been indoors most of the time, but I have been very busy and so full of beans that I have made my MH quite tired!

I wakened her up very early this morning 'cos I was a tad peckish and felt like a little light refreshment and of course, I can't open the cupboard, so the old dear had to get up. She managed to feed me, but I think she was on auto pilot, and she went back to bed for a wee while. I had a feed and sat on my window sill watching the waves and the boats and the birdies, 'cos it gets light quite early now, but then I decided I would cuddle in beside my MH and have a nap and we liked that.

It was housework day, so while my MH played with her vacuum cleaner, me and my DH stayed in the study out of her way. We went into the greenhouse for a while and sat there 'cos it was nice and quiet, and then we went back in when the vacuum went away.

I went into the gym with my MH and had a big explore while she did her exercises and then she played with me in my living room when her wee legs had recovered from all their pedalling.

My humans are talking about going away for the day tomorrow, so I might not be able to write to you, but don't worry if you don't hear from me 'cos I am fine and if they do go away then my MH's friend M will come in an feed me and have a wee blether with me, so I shall be OK.

A wee bit lonely, but OK.

Oh dear....

....all our good weather has disappeared again and it has been raining today and my DH hasn't finished all his work, so it will need to wait till another day.

I have been inside most of the day catching up with all my sleep although I did manage to catch two flies that were climbing up my window, so that's enough work for one day.

My DH was away to the Cat Protection shop today and my MH always has to go out for a wee while on Wednesday, so I was left alone, but I enjoyed the peace and quiet.

I forgot to tell you yesterday that I overheard a conversation between my humans which upset me a bit 'cos they were talking about the LAWN MOWER! I guess we might be getting towards that time of year when IT comes out again.

I might ask the nice farmer man next door if he has any books about lawn mowers and vacuum cleaners, and I am going to learn how to sabotage them, although I won't tell him what I am thinking. Hee hee! :)))

I am determined to have a quiet life one way or another!

Just as I thought...

.... we have all been very busy today and I have been helping my DH in my garden and I have been ever so busy.

My MH did some housework, so I spent most of the time in the outside and avoided the vacuum again and I watched my DH working very hard, then the nice farmer from next door brought some more chips for us, so my garden is going to be very nice when it is all finished. I will ask my MH to take a picture so that you can see what it looks like.

Me and my MH went into the gym and she hanged up a couple of pictures of yours truly so that she can watch me while her little legs are getting all their exercise.

I had a wee snooze in the afternoon and then me and my MH went to see what my DH was doing and she took some more pictures. I made them laugh 'cos I was playing at being a big fierce hunter and as I was about to pounce on the fly or the twig or whatever caught my eye, I wriggled my adorable little bottom and then WHOOSH! I was gone, and they laughed a lot when I did that.

I do that lots of times---even in my living room, and my MH says it makes me look SO cute!

'Nuff said, dear reader. 'Nuff said.

What a Day!

I am jiggered! I have been outside ALL day and it has been glorious.

The weather has been beautiful and I have just been sitting on my window sill in my living room looking at a lovely sunset on the water. Oh I do love the summer.

I was able to stay outside all day and it was so good that my humans left the door open so I could wander in and out as I pleased. I lay on my path and sun bathed and when my MH had finished her work, she sat outside too and we had a good old girlie chat. I hope it stays like this forever.

My DH told me he was going to be working in our garden tomorrow putting down all these new chips, so I guess there will be lots for me to do. My humans need my help, so I had better get a good night's sleep as I am bound to be very busy all day tomorrow.

I shall let you know.

Pole Dancing Puss

It is a lovely day. My little friend the weather man said it would be and he was right.

I have been outside all day doing pussy cat things while my DH was watching the football on my TV and my MH was doing stuff as well, so I knew they were OK and I went out and had great fun.

Then my MH came out with the washing and I had more fun. My DH had to put up a new clothes rope for her 'cos the wind broke the other one---even when there was nothing on it! But it is such a good day that she wanted to put out the washing, so my DH put up a nice white rope for her and she was happy.


While she was pegging everything on the new rope, I decided to see if I could still climb my poles and I took a run at it and this is where I landed. I think I look really brilliant and I am delighted that I remembered how to climb, and I have been up and down the poles all day, so I am a wee bit tired now, and I need a rest.

But I shall be attacking them again later!!
