Sleepy Sunday

There is very little news for you today 'cos I have been sleeping a lot. I have a master plan. Remember I told you that the V-E-T was coming to stick a big needle in to me tomorrow? Well, I decided that if I slept all day today, I wouldn't be tired tomorrow and I could stay out until after he was away! Magic plan or what?

I have been outside quite a lot though as I had to have a wee look at all the baby sheeps and they are getting cuter by the day. Some are playing in gangs now and are running round the fields doing silly jumps as they run. When nobody was looking, I tried one of those jumps, but I haven't quite perfected it yet. I shall keep trying though. Oh, I have just had a thought. If I do one of these jumps tomorrow when the vet person is here, maybe I will be mistaken for a sheep and not get injected. Another brilliant plan. No wonder I am tired, with all this thinking!

My humans have been in and out with me lots of times and we have also had time to play together, so I have had good fun too. I am snoozing now but I shall be going out to play soon.

It is a lovely evening so I think I shall probably stay out late and wander round all the fields to see the sheeps. I know I will like that lots.

They're Back!

The pesky swallows have arrived on my little island! Sigh. You know I love the summer especially when the weather is good and I can play and stay out as long as I want to. I love all the little baby sheeps and the little cows that keep popping out and most of the birdies are my friends 'cos I make sure my humans feed them and I don't disturb them when they are having their dinner, but the pesky swallows I do not like 'cos they keep dive bombing me, even when I am just lying on my path minding my own business. Oh dear.

Me and my MH were outside talking to the nice farmer lady who was looking after her sheep and it was then that we saw two swallows on the roof of the big shed that I like to explore. Mind you, it is also the shed that I got locked in last year, so I might not go back there again. However, there were only two swallows so they didn't come too close. I hope they tell all their friends when they arrive that I am a friendly puss and I would rather not be dive bombed, thank you very much.

Apart from that, I have had a very good day. Both my humans have been outside lots so I have had plenty of company and I was able to nip through my fence to see the new baby lambs without the mummy sheep being angry with me. I played on the grass and my MH tooked this picture for you to show you how determined I looked. She says to look closely at the adorable little lugs!

My MH was doing some washing so she asked me to help her hang them all out and I ran up and down the clothes poles to make sure they were safe enough for her and she giggled. She always laughs when I do that and I do it lots of times.

It is resting time for me now, but I shall be going outside later on and I have been staying out later and later these nights which I just love. It is so beautiful and quiet during the night and the swallows are in their little beds too, so I get peace just to roam around my fields and it is then that I am at my happiest.

Except for when I am cuddled up to my MH of course! Phew, I was nearly in trouble then! :-)))

Much Better

I like Fridays. In fact, when I think about it, I like most days, but Fridays are particularly good and today the weather was even to my liking, so it all started out very well and continued like that.

My first trip was to see if there were any more little baby sheeps in my fields and I got a great big surprise 'cos right outside my fence where I do my pole dancing, a mummy sheep was having two little babies and I saw the whole thing AND this time, I didn't feel funny watching it and I didn't need my MH to pick me up. These are the wee babies and they are having a snooze. I think they must have been tired having been borned, but they will soon be up and running and maybe I will be able to play with them. I hope so.

The postman arrived at my house with a great big box and it was all for me 'cos my MH had ordered some of my favourite dinners so I don't think I will be hungry for a very long time.

I played outside lots of times and some of the times my MH was out with me and sometimes my DH came out so I had plenty of company and when my MH was out, we saw my two oyster catcher friends but they were too far away for me to have a chat with them, so I decided to do my exercises on the grass and of course I had to start with my stretches, but I think I look very fetching, don't you?

When I went back inside, my DH had just arrived back with all our messages and there were lots and lots of boxes for me to play in as you can see.

Oh yes, I do like Fridays.

Not a Great Day

Not too bad a day, but not my best, I'm afraid. For some reason, my MH decided that she needed to do some painting, so my DH was sent out to get white paint and brushes and his sanding machine. Now the paint and brush wasn't too bad, but oh my dear friends, what a noise he made with that sanding machine. I took to my bed but didn't get much peace until he was finished getting it all ready for the old dear to get started.

She was painting all the woodwork in our bathroom and in the spare room and I have to admit that it does look lovely now, but I was rather annoyed that she had very little time for me. Oh, she did come and give me a wee cuddle, but I wanted to play and she couldn't. Sigh!

THEN! As if things weren't bad enough, I heard her telling the old boy that the V-E-T was coming to my island on Monday and as well as looking at the cows he was coming to see me and my feline friend Button and to say we are not happy puss cats is a slight understatement. The only slightly good thing about it is that I don't have to be put in my cage and taken away on the boat, so I suppose I shouldn't really complain.

But I intend to milk it for all that it is worth the whole weekend!

A Fun Day

There have been lots of showers today, so I have been inside a lot of the time, but I did manage to get out once or twice without getting rained on so I decided that I would have fun inside and that's what I had.

My DH went away to the Cat Shop and my MH told me that she didn't have much work to do so she would do whatever I wanted. I plonked my adorable little self on her knee while I decided what we would do, and I must admit I nodded off but I was so very comfortable, so it is understandable.

When I did finally waken up, I asked the old dear if she would like to play and in the wink of an eye, she was down on the floor with me playing with all my toys and it was just magic. I just love it when my humans play with me and I am very glad to say that I only have to ask, and it is done.

While I was having another rest, my MH played on her Wii and I watched as she won her tennis game and that made her happy and then we had another play together while we waited for my DH to come home again and I sat on his knee while he told us what he had done all day, but I think me and my MH had more fun then he did.

Shame!

More Fun

It was changing beds day in my house today and I just love helping my MH and she says it is amazing the difference I make to her work. I think that must be in a good way, but there was something in her voice when she was telling my friend S. that did make me wonder. But only for a second, and then I decided that I was right. I do help her and she loves me for it. So there.

It is my favourite job in my house and I hide under the sheets when she is taking them off and she just slides me down the bed, and then I try and hide again when she puts the new ones on, but she usually sees me and gently lifts me off and puts me on a chair. But by the time she has turned back to the bed, can you guess where I am? Of course you can. Right back where I shouldn't be!! But my very favourite place is inside the duvet cover and I managed it today before she caught me and moved me again. Oh, it was such good fun and we both loved it lots.

I was in and out lots of times as it has been quite a good day on my little island and I saw some more baby sheeps and they are adorable. Nearly as adorable as moi, but not quite. Hee hee. My MH tooked this picture of some of the mummy sheeps-in-waiting for you and some of the little lambs as well as this birdie at the feeder at the other side of my house. We have one outside the living room where all the little birdies come for their dinner, but this one is for the bigger birdies and it has a bath in it too, and sometimes I have a wee drink out of it, but only when the birdies have gone away.

I like this last picture that my DH tooked last night. As you can see, I am in my normal night position and I am so tired having just told my MH what to write to you, that I decided to have a little snooze on her keyboard and I do understand that it makes it a wee bit difficult for the old dear to do any more work, but she doesn't mind 'cos she loves it when I cuddle up beside her and I love it too.

So, I have had a very fun day and I hope your day has been a good one too.

Better

I have had another good day and that came as a little surprise 'cos I wakened up very early and heard the rain again, so I thought I wouldn't be able to get out to play, but by the time I got up, the rain was off again and the sun was shining, so I nipped out to see how many more baby sheeps there were, and there was a LOT more. I wish I could count and then I could tell you how many there are, but I can't. However, I know somebody who CAN! I will ask my MH to count them for you. I just hope she doesn't fall asleep while she is doing it!

When I was out, I noticed that there are some tiny little babies and they stay close to their mummy sheep, but there are some bigger ones who run round the field in a little 'lamb gang' and sometimes I wish I could play with them and run round like they do, but I don't want to frighten them, so I just watch.

There were a few heavy rain showers but fortunately I was inside at the time and me and my MH just watched from the window and then I settled down on her knee to have a rest. Watching all these little lambs makes me sleepy, you know!

My DH was late home 'cos he went shopping after he finished at the Cat Shop, so after he had his dinner I helped him in the greenhouse and some of our little plants and flowers are beginning to grow now but he still doesn't have any tomatoes yet so I am looking forward to that.

I don't have very much news for you as I am just doing all the little normal things, but it all those little normal things that make me one very happy little pussy cat.
