Washout

Oh dear, I have been a grumpy little puss today because it has rained and rained all day and I have hardly been outside for the whole day and that always makes me a little less than happy. SIGH!

I did manage out for just a couple of little trips into my garden and then I had to get cuddled dry when I comed back in again. That is really the only good thing about all this rain, so I am hoping it goes away very quickly.

My adorable little paws are crossed and I have asked my little weather man friend to make it better so we will need to wait and see what it is like tomorrow.

I am hoping.

Nearly A Cat- astrophe

Me and my MH have been watching the DVDs of ‘The Golden Girls’ and if you have seen it, you will know where I learned this. Picture the scene. Graemsay half past seven o’clock in this morning. Me and the old dear were up very early ‘cos she had an appointment in Stromness and she didn’t know when she would be back but she was going with her friend and thought it might be at tea time. My DH was going to the Cat Shop and he definitely wouldn’t be back until tea time so yours truly had a brilliant idea!

I would have a party with all my pussy cat friends and maybe some of the little birdies. Inspired, eh? So, I nipped out before the old dear went away on the boat and issued all the invitations and then had a wee lie down to think what I would need to do to have a brilliant time.

Well, I must have been thinking a wee bit too hard and then falled asleep because the next thing I heard was the Boss coming home and it wasn’t even lunch time! I pretended I was very pleased to see her, which I was, but I was also panicking a wee bit very much while she told me that since they had got everything finished quickly and since it was a rotten day, they decided to come home early. Oh lovely, oh joy, oh deary, deary me.

So, after I had said all my hellos to my MH, I had to scoot outside very quickly and tell all my little friends the party was cancelled and they were a wee bit very sad, but I am sitting on the old dear’s knee and I am very, very happy.

Result!

A Mystery

I have been out lots today and every time I come back home my adorable little paws are all dirty. My dear old MH keeps asking where I have been but of course I am not telling! Hee hee

She says if they are still dirty tomorrow she will take a picture of them for you. She also said she is going to try and follow me the next time I go out. But I am wise to that and will not leave my garden if I see her watching.

Great Fun

We have had another brilliant day and I have been outside for nearly all the time except when my friend S, comed to see me. It was warm on my little island and my humans decided to do some more work in our garden so I had lots of company and that made me happy.

I like when we are all outside but I also like it when I can leave them to look after themselves so that I can wander into the field and do some cat things and then I can usually find a wee spot to curl up in and just chill out for a while. I am having a rest just now but I will be heading outside in a while to do some more hunting, resting and chilling.

Oh I do like this weather.

A Better Day

You will be pleased to know that I have had a much better day today which has made me very happy indeed. The sun was shining when we got up and so I just headed straight outside and listened to all the birdies.

I spent all of the morning just wandering in and out as I pleased and it was good, but the goodest bit was when my MH comed out to clean all the windows and I just followed her round my house and listened while she chatted to me.

She told me that she read in the paper that people who talked to their pets are cleverer than those who don’t and if that is correct then my dear old MH is a genius ‘cos she talks to me all the time. In fact the only time she doesn’t talk is when she is sleeping!

Sometimes my adorable little lugs need a rest, but please don’t tell her I said that ‘cos she would be a wee bit upset and I wouldn’t want that. OK?

A Funny Week

The weather on my little island has been good and bad with some sunny warm days and other cold wet days, so I have been a rather confused little puss. I was a wee bit not too well at the beginning of the week. Don't worry, it wasn't anything serious just a wee bit of a cold but now I am back to my normal, adorable self again which is good and has made my humans a lot happier.

Monday was a good day and I spent nearly all day outside having lots of fun just lying in the long grass and I liked that lots. On Tuesday my humans went away to Kirkwall and because the wind was blowing right into my living room, the Boss had to close the window so I just tooked to my bed till they comed back to me and then I went out to play.

I was left alone for just a little while yesterday while my MH had to go out and of course my DH was at the Cat Shop but the old dear was soon back to play with me and she comed outside for a while with me and today we have all been home together and although it has been raining I have still been outside for a while.

I don't know what it will be like tomorrow so I shall just have to wait and see what my day will be like, but my adorable little paws are crossed.

Rotten Weather

I am not very pleased ‘cos our weather isn’t what I have been waiting for and I am getting a tad fed up with the wind and the rain.

I managed out for just a little time but there were no little animal friends outside for me to talk to so I went home and asked for a cuddle which I got, of course. My MH even asked me to go into the gym with her and she was very disappointed when I decided to stay in my house.

I will have even less news for you tomorrow because I heard my humans saying that they are going to Kirkwall tomorrow so I will be left all alone for a while..... but they will make it up to me when they come home.

I shall make sure of that!
