Oh Dear

What a day and a night and a other day it has been! I am not a happy puss at all 'cos I haven't been able to get outside for days and days and days! My poor old MH is getting really worried for me. The nearest to the outside I have been is when she opened the door for me, but only my adorable little nose left the house….. the rest of me stayed in the porch.

I suppose you will have guessed that we have had really bad weather with millions of raindrops which were so loud against my windows that we had to turn up the television 'cos we couldn't hear a thing. Now, the rain is bad enough, but it comed with a ginormous wind and it was this naughty wind that keeped me in 'cos my MH was frightened it would blow me away and I think it might have 'cos it blowed away some of our ornaments but luckily enough my DH catched them before they got very lost.

So, I don't have any news at all but apart from being a tad fed up, I am fine and I hope you are all fine too.

Well...

I start a lot of my stories with 'well', sure I do ? But here is another one.

Well, I could hardly get to sleep last night for the sound of the rain battering against my bedroom window. Boy, there was a lot of rain. Really heavy, noisy rain and it nearly keeped me awake all night, but I managed to get some sleep just for a little while.

My MH got some sleep too, but I am afraid I was a tad naughty again 'cos I wakened her up in the middle of the night time so that I could go out and see what a lot of rain looked like. Well, I actually waited until the rain had stopped for a wee rest and I scooted outside to see what my garden looked like and then when I comed back in, me and the old dear had a very good sleep till it was the proper morning time to get up.

It has rained and winded all day so I haven't been out very much and when I did gather up all my intrepidness, I just stayed out for a little while 'cos the wind was just a little bit too strong for me. I didn't want to get blowed away!

But I am happy now on my MH's knee with my adorable little head on her laptop and she is liking it lots. I am quite pleased too! Hee hee

Windy

It was a very windy night on my little island but we all knew it would be ‘cos my little weather man friend told us it would. But it didn’t stop me from going outside for my bedtime perambulation although I didn’t stay out too long and as soon as I comed back inside my DH gave me some biscuits and then I cuddled up beside my MH on our bed.

It hasn’t been a very good day ‘cos it has still been winding and raining so I have spent the most of my day sleeping and because it was windy, my MH didn’t go swimming so we spent the afternoon together and I liked that lots but I am hoping it is better tomorrow so that I can get outside for a while.

Not Very Much News

I have been just doing my normal things so I don't have a lot to tell you but I am well. The weather has been sort of good and sort of bad so I have been going out when it is good and staying in when it is bad and that is very fine.

It was a good day yesterday and me and my MH were out for a long time 'cos she decided to cut the grass and as you know, she likes me to help her and I did it very well....just like I always do. It is looking very lovely again and I liked running in it when it was just cut. I do not like the chips 'cos they are sore on my adorable little feets so I always try to walk on something else and the grass is good. Sometimes it tickles my feets and that makes me giggle inside.

Today has been a bit wet but it hasn't kept me in and I have spent a long time in the big shed which is near my house. I like it in there and it's not too far to come home when my little tummy is getting a wee bit empty.

So, I am very fine and I hope you are fine too.

Good Fun

It has been a good day for this little puss although I was a bit tired when it was time for me to get up and meet my day. This might have been because I had another nocturnal escapade at half past four in this morning until about five o'clock and my poor old MH was a wee bit tired too because she had to stay up and let me in again when I was ready.

It was quite windy so she couldn't leave the window open for me and she wouldn't leave me out all night 'cos she loves me too much and she would be worried so I was quite a good puss and didn't stay out too long and then we both cosied up and had a very good sleep....although just not long enough! Hee hee

I have been in and out lots today and then I mentioned to the old dear that she hadn't put me in her camera for a long while so she tooked these special pictures of me just for you.

I hope you like them as I think I am looking particularly fetching in them. Don't you?

Well....

.… We are all very well but I have a little story for you which gave me a wee bit of a fright when my MH told it to me. Yesterday both my humans were in Stromness 'cos the old boy was at the Cat Shop and my MH was away swimming so yours truly was left all alone. I had a wee bit of breakfast and then went outside for a while and my humans thought they could have left the window open because it was a lovely morning, but I came home before they went away, so they decided to close it, and that was a very good idea indeed.

I settled down on my couch and just waited patiently till they comed back home to me and I did notice that it had suddenly got a wee bit very windy but then my MH told me what had happened to them and I had to lie down again. I shall explain. They got on the boat in Stromness and although it was a tad breezy, they weren't too worried but as they were sailing back to my little island the naughty wind got worser and because of the direction the boat had to come in at the other side of the pier and everybody had to go up the stairs to the top deck and then walk along a gangway onto the pier. My MH called it a gang plank, but I don't think it was..hee hee.

It wasn't too bad but a wee bit difficult when they were carrying bags but they got some help and then they had to walk up the pier to get the car without the wind blowing them away again! Oh dear, I am very glad I wasn't there. My humans were fine but they didn't like it too very much so I am glad they are home.

Today has been a lot better and I have been in and out lots of times without getting rained on which makes me very pleased indeed.

A Not Very Good Day

When I got up this morning and looked out of the window, I was quite a happy puss 'cos it was dry and there was not much wind, so as I was having my breakfast, I worked out what I would do with my day and I was very pleased.

I had an easy start to my day and sat with my MH while my DH was getting ready to go to the Cat Shop and then she told me that she had to go out for a while to look after my friend S.'s animals 'cos she is on holiday. I was perfectly fine with that and decided I would have a wander round my garden until she comed back again and it is just as well I did, 'cos as soon as the old dear comed back to me it started to rain!

And it rained nearly all day so I couldn't get out again until after I had finished my dinner and I was not best pleased, I can tell you. However, the rain seems to have stopped so I hope I can have another wee play outside before it is bedtime.
