Thank You

Do you remember last week I asked you for a big favour to find my little weather man friend and help me get rid of all the rotten weather? Well, somebody must have told him 'cos there has been no more storms after Saturday and we have had very good weather and I am a very happy puss indeed.

But before I was happy, I was a wee bit scared on Saturday night because there was a dreadful wind, pouring rain and thunder and lightning which made me a wee bit scared, but my MH helped me and I was fine. Our lights kept going on and off and our phone went off too so it was a funny house....but funny scary, not funny giggle if you see what I mean.

However, since Monday it has been lovely and calm and as well as getting out to play, I can sit on one of my very favourite places and that is on the windowsill with the window open so that my adorable little head can be outside and my even adorabler wee bum can be inside. Heaven! And my humans aren't getting blowed about my living room. Hee hee

So, I am a very happy little Squeak and whoever told my little weather man friend all about me, thank you millions!

A Favour Please

What a day and what an even worser night! It has been horrible with a capital H! I have no idea what that means but I heard my MH saying it and if it is good enough for her, then ‘‘tis good enough for me.

It has poured with rain all day, the wind has howled at us all day and then tonight when we were all settled down to watch a film, the thunder and lighting arrived and knocked off our broadband and our boiler...... but just for a little while..... but the rain was battering against the windows so loud and the thunder was even louder, that we had to turn off the television ‘cos we couldn’t hear it! Oh dear, dear me. Needless to say, I have been indoors all day but I did manage out for ten minutes before bedtime.

I wasn’t too frightened with the storm ‘cos I was on my MH’s knee and she cuddled me so tight to let me know everything was all right.....except I nearly got strangled! Hee hee

So here is my favour. If anybody knows Sean, my little weather man friend, would you please ask him to make all this storm stuff stop ‘cos I am getting very fed up getting rained on and all blowed about when I need to go and do what an adorable pussy cat needs to do, and my cat friend Button is fed up with it all too, so please ask him to try and make it go away.

Do you ever......

.....do something and wish you hadn’t? Well, that’s what I did at three o’clock in this morning and I really shouldn’t have done it.

I shall explain. I had had a very good sleep so I wakened up full of energy and I decided it might be good fun to have a wee look outside so I stucked a delicate little claw into my MH’s lug ‘cos that always wakes her up.......immediately! Hee hee

She asked me what I wanted so I tooked her to the door and when I just stood there staring at it she asked me if I wanted out and opened the door and oft I went.

Well, I had just stepped outside when I realised it was freezing cold but it was too late. The door was shut and I knew The Boss would be a tad unhappy if I had got her up out of bed so that I could play for one minute. Sigh!

So, I nipped into a wee sheltered spot and counted to twenty and then I nipped up on to the window sill and hammered on the window until my MH let me in again and later on I heard her telling my DH that she hadn’t even got her slippers on before I wanted back inside.

She wasn’t angry though ‘cos she loves me millions!

More Storms

I will tell you a wee secret. I am getting a tad fed up with all these storms bringing tons of rain and great big awful gales to my little island and I am not very happy at all.

The wind shouted at us all day and it was so wet that I didn't get outside until bedtime and even then it was only for a little time and then I had to hurry inside before I shrinked , but I was able to cuddle up beside my MH and that made me fee a lot better.

Me and her were up at four o'clock in this morning when a great big gust of wind frightened her and wakened us both up, so we went into my living room and had a seat and a chat nd I made her feel a whole lot better. She liked that millions.

Today hasn't been much better and it has rained and rained so I have been inside for another en-tire day, but I will try and get out before bed time.

I will try very hard. Hee hee

What a Day!

I have had a brilliant day! The weather has been awful but it has not worried me at all. Well, maybe just a little bit when the thunder rolled right across my roof and frightened me and my humans a wee bit.

There was a howling gale when we all wakened up so I very quickly worked out that I would need to stay inside or face getting blowed away but when the thunder and lightning comed I was very glad I could hide inside my house. So that was a not very good bit to my day but because of this, my day suddenly got a big lot gooder!

My MH decided to give our bedroom a great big clean and needed to get my DH to help her and for some reason known only to themselves, the poor soul had to crawl under the bed but when he was there, he finded my wee green ball that has been lost for a long time and that made me the happiest little puss in the world!

Those of you who know all about me, know that I have had this wee green ball for years and years and I just love it millions but every now and then I put it away somewhere safe and the forget where it is and I have to wait until one of my humans finds it.

And today was my DH’s turn. Yippee! Thank you DH.

Stormy

I know everybody has this naughty storm and I do hope that all my friends out there are safe. I am fine except that I am not getting outside as much as I would like 'cos I don't want to get blowed away when it is very windy or soaked to my adorable little skin when there is tons and tons of rain falling on me, so I have decided that the bestest place when all this winding and raining is happening is in my house with my humans.

However, I am afraid that my dear old MH doesn't have as much time for me as I want 'cos she is still busy doing her big peacock picture and some afternoons I just sit on the back of my couch and watch her working and we have a wee chat. I am happy to see that the picture is nearly finished and then I shall claim all the time she has taken when I should have been on her knee. I think I don't like peacocks now! Hee hee I will show it to you when it is all finished. It is lovely but I am a tad jealous.

So, there we are. There's not much news but I am fine and I really hope you are fine too.

I Am Very Fine

I know I haven't been writing to you as much as I used to, but in the winter times I am not doing as much as I do in the summer time, but I wanted you to know that I am still a very well and a very happy puss.

The weather on my little island hasn't been all that brilliant 'cos we have had winds and gales and rains and it has been so, so cold! Sometimes when I come back inside from being out in my garden, my adorable little body is nearly frozed and I need a great big warm-me-up cuddle from my MH. And I always get it!

It was a good day on Tuesday but because my humans had to go to Kirkwall, I was shut in all day so I just snoozed till they comed back to me and then I went out to play for a little while and spent the rest of the night all cuddled up on my MH's knee.

So you will see that I am very happy indeed.

A Very Good Weekend

I have had a super weekend with lots of outside times and lots of cuddles inside. The weather on my little island has been good enough to let me be outside without getting rained on or blowed away so I could just wander round my garden and be a happy little Squeak.

I went into the gym with my MH and helped her as she made her little legs do their exercises but every now and then I would wander off and let MY little legs get some exercise too, so we are both fit now.... but I am fitter, Hee hee!

Today, two of my friends, S. and M. comed to my house to watch a film on my television and my MH said I could watch it too, so I climbed up on her knee and settled down, but then I falled asleep and didn’t waken up till it was all finished. Oh dear.

So I have had lots of good times and I hope your weekend has been good too.
