Much Happier

We were all at home today and that is what I like. The weather wasn't bad although it did rain a wee bit in the afternoon but not enough to upset us.

When my MH was away to the town yesterday, she bought some little flower type plants and brought them home for me and my DH to plant outside and that's what we had to do, so the wee bit of rain was good 'cos it gived the new plants a wee drink. When you see some pictures of them, you might wonder why there is green 'stuff' over the top and that's where I have a confession to make.

My DH put out two boxes last week to get them ready for the new plants but I discovered that they made very soft and comfortable litter trays for this adorable little puss and I'm afraid my humans weren't best pleased with me. And then they were worried that I would do the same when the flowers were in the boxes so the old boy thinks he has made them Squeak-proof.

I, on the other paw, do not think so!

All Alone

But just for a little while today. I knew my DH would be going to the Cat Shop and when I saw what my MH was wearing, I knew she was going away too. Sigh.

It was raining when we all got up so I had a very quick wander outside before taking to my bed to have a wee sulk. The window had to be closed so I knew I couldn’t go out so I just slept till I heard the door opening and my humans were back home to me again. Yippee!

I was very patient and gave the old dear a good five minutes to put away all the messages and then I asked her to play with me, which she did. You all knew that anyway, didn’t you? We had good fun and while she was tickling me she told me all the things she had been doing and I listened very carefully.

After our dinner, I assumed my favouritist position with my adorable little bum on her knee and my even adorabler little head on her shoulder and I purred as loud as can be and that made both my humans smile.

I am happy!

And not a bad Sunday

The weather wasn’t all that great and not as good as yesterday so the Boss didn’t get out into the garden which meant there was a lot more time to play with me. And I for one wasn’t complaining!

We just did all our normal things and I had a few plays outside on my own, but then I had to go to work in the greenhouse with my DH and help him look after our tomato plants and I liked that lots. I haven’t decided yet which will be mine. I shall have to spend some more time with them before I decide.

So, that is all that I have done and now I am resting on my MH’s knee before I head out for my before bed wander. I hope your Sunday had been as good as mine.

A Super Saturday

I have had a very good day. A very good day indeed. It was sunny and calm when I opened my adorable little eyes so I told my MH that I would like to go straight outside and could I please have my breakfast when I came in, and of course she agreed.

I wandered round my garden and then nipped through the fence and went into the field to see the sheeps. One of them told me that they are all ladies-in-waiting so maybe there will be some baby sheeps soon for me to play with.

The rest of my day was spent just wandering in and out and enjoying the sunshine. My MH went away down to see my friend S’s puss cat and I stayed out till she comed home again and then we played on the grass and I had lots of fun.

The only little cloud was the dreaded lawn mower had to be brought out again so I found a safe place and just waited patiently till the old dear was finished. It does feel nice now on my adorable little body when I roll on it, so I shouldn’t complain. Mind you, that has never stopped me before! Hee hee

A Very Excited Pussycat

That's what I am today. And why, I hear you ask. Well the very nice postman bringed us a wee parcel this morning and when my MH opened it up she showed it to me, and there was me looking back at me! It was a painting that my friend B. did for me and it is beautiful. You can see it for yourself 'cos I have asked my MH to show it to you. And she has. Thank you very much, B. We are all delighted with it.

Remember I told you yesterday that my humans were going away to leave me today? Well, I was only half right 'cos it was just my DH that went away. My MH said she wasn't well but I think the real reason was that she never wants to leave me. However, I have been giving her some very special cuddles to make sure that she will feel better soon.

We have had a very quiet day with me looking after the old dear and her letting me sit on her knee so we have both been very happy.

Sorry

I do hope you didn’t worry about me yesterday. My MH was just about to write to you, on my behalf, of course! when she had to go out and it was too late when she comed home again. I was not best pleased and told her that my adoring public might be worried about me, but I am very fine indeed.

We have all had a good day although it has been a bit wet and cold so I have spent most of my day just snuggled up on my couch or beside my MH and that has suited me just fine.

I think I am to be abandoned tomorrow ‘cos I heard my humans talking about going to Kirkwall to buy some goodies so I will probably have another sleepy day. I don’t like being on my own as you know, but if the weather isn’t too great then I am happy just staying indoors and snoozing till they come home to me again.

Then I expect to be spoiled!

Adorable

I know I don't need to prove it to you, but do these pictures not show how utterly adorable I am? I have put my modesty in a drawer for a little while 'cos I knew you would like to see these pictures of me which my DH took while I was cuddling up to my MH who was trying to do her puzzles.

I do this to her lots of times and sometimes she just puts her book down and strokes me 'cos she loves it just as much as me. See?

This was after our dinner time when we were all settled down for the night time. We have had a good day although it has been just a tad cool and blowy but it didn't keep me in too much and I had a few wee plays outside which gave me lots of good fun.

The old dear went into her gym but I stayed inside with my DH 'cos I didn't feel like sitting watching her on her bike and it was too cold for her to leave the door open for me, so I just patiently waited till she comed back to me and then I will let you guess where I sat.

Yep, on her knee. My very favouritist seat in the en-tire world!
