Ditto Yesterday’s Heading

I am lying down in a darkened room with a wee headache. Yep, the men are still here drilling holes in my walls and pulling heaters off them and it is noisy! They have put on different heaters but they don’t work yet, so I am frightened my MH might get a wee bit cold. I think I will need to cuddle up close again tonight.

It hasn’t been a very good day for weather on my little island with lots of wind and heavy rain so I haven’t been out very much at all which is why my adorable little head is banging. Sigh.

I don’t have very much news ‘cos apart from listening to banging and drilling I haven’t done very much but I have asked my MH to send you a picture of my new heaters if we ever get my house back to normal again. I do hope so.

Deary, deary, me.....

..... what a noise there has been in my house today. My little head is thumping and I have needed lots and lots of cuddles from my MH.

Two men comed into my house in this morning and started making big holes in my walls. I did wonder why the old dear wasn’t angry at them but she told me it was fine ‘cos that’s what they were supposed to be doing so that made me feel a bit better. I did manage to have a wee look at what they were doing but I still do ‘t understand it. I guess I will just have to wait and see. And as soon as I know, you will know!

I did manage outside quite a few times even though it was wet and windy, but at least it was a wee bit quieter outside. The men are coming back tomorrow so I am going to look for earplugs tonight so that I will be prepared.

Clever Squeak!

I don't know....

….. what is happening in my house just now but I am not overly happy about it, I can tell you. My humans have been busy putting things in rooms that don't belong in in those rooms and now they have packed away all my glasses and ornaments in boxes.

I had a brilliant idea and that was if I sat in the box then my MH wouldn't be able to put anything in it and if she couldn't put anything in it then they couldn't do whatever it is they are going to do. See? However, as soon as my DH rattled my Dreamies, I was off out of the box like a shot and as soon as it was empty of me, my MH filled it with all her things. Sigh!


My MH told me it is nothing to worry about but I am not a hundred percent sure she is telling me the truth and I will tell you when I find out.

Fun Time

I had a sort of normal day just helping my MH to do all her bits of housework. I like wandering about my house watching her and listening to her as she talks to me all the time. She even asks me questions and then answers them for me! Do you think I should be worried?

The fun time came for me after tea time and I made my MH laugh out loud. There is a great big oil tank in my garden ‘cos my humans are changing how we heat my house and there was lots and lots of plastic wrapped round it but the wind started to unwind the plastic and some of it had blowed into my garden and round the barbed wire fence.

So, me and the old dear went out to pick it up and bring it inside but some of it flewed away and before you could say ‘Squeak is adorable’ I was off like a shot through the fence chasing the plastic and just as I was about to pounce on it, it blewed away further and I had to chase some more.

Oh my dear friends, it was the bestest fun I have had for a long time and my MH told my DH that I was just like an eight year old kitten and they both laughed.

I hope I can chase some more tomorrow.

Lots of Rain

I think it is winter now 'cos the weather on my little island has not been to my liking with lots of rain and even some wind but it has not kept me in 'cos I am a brave puss---- and I am a puss who needs the fresh air and the fields.

I was out quite early this morning and had a chat to the sheeps before going home to have my breakfast and it was after this when I was sitting on my window sill that I saw something a wee bit very sad. A little bird flewed into my window and knocked its little self out and falled on the ground. Me and my humans heard the noise and when my MH opened the window to see where it was, she told me not to move 'cos she didn't want me to hurt the little birdie. And I didn't! I stayed very still and just watched as the birdie shooked its little head. My DH went out and lifted it onto the grass and we think it flied away. I hope it was OK.


There were two men in my house today 'cos they are going to start all the work soon, but I stayed on my bed until they went away. I am a wee bit shy and need to get to know people first but maybe if they come back tomorrow I will let them adore me. Hee hee


I don't have a lot of news but maybe when these men start doing all the work I my house I will have more to tell you.

More Good Day

I have had another very good day with lots of outside trips and lots of fun inside so that has made me very happy. I have just heard my humans talking and there are men coming to my house tomorrow to do lots of work. I do not understand what it is that they are doing, but my MH told me there will b lots of noise and things will not be where I want them to be, but I have not to be worried or scared 'cos my humans will be right beside me all the time and that should make it OK. I hope so but I am not totally convinced.

There was just a little bit of work in my house today as the old dear got ready for 'these men' but there was lots of time for me and one time when my MH was sitting on our bed, I jumped up beside her and asked her to play with me and in a trice I was under my blanket letting her cuddle and tickle me and it was magic. We played like that for a long time until I did my usual and falled asleep with excitement.

I stayed on top of my bed for a long time and my MH said it made her smile whenever she looked at me 'cos the blanket was just going up and down and up and down and she thought I looked ever so cute.

But then I always do!

A Good Monday

We were all back to normal today with my DH going away to the Cat Shop and me and my MH doing lots of things in my house to make it all clean and tidy again. Well, to be honest, she did all the cleaning and I just followed her around giving her lots of purrs when she needed them. That always makes her happy.

It was quite a good day and even quite warm when I was out of the wind so I was outside lots and lots of times which was brilliant. I spent a lot of time in the field talking to the sheeps and I told them all about my postcard and I think they were very impressed--- and even a wee bit jealous. Hee hee

When I was sitting on my windowsill this afternoon, my MH comed over to give me a cuddle and she noticed this birdie having a wee feed and she thought you might like to see the picture that she tooked. We both think it is lovely.

So, my Monday has been a very good one and I have loved every minute of it. Right now I am having my after dinner nap and I shall head outside again at least one time and maybe two or three times before bedtime. The nights are getting dark early now but I like the dark time 'cos I can see very well and nothing makes me frightened so I am a very happy little Squeak.
