Such a Tired Puss

I am so sleepy I might not be able to finish this message to you and I know you will be anxious to find out what has made me like this, so I shall tell you.

For some reason I wasn't too tired last night and I am afraid I kept asking my MH to waken up and talk to me so when I heard our alarm clock shouting at me at half past seven o'clock in this morning, I was too tired to get up, but then I saw that it wasn't raining and I decided to go out to play and I was outside for a long, long time.

There were mens coming to my little island to do some work in the Hall and my humans had to go and help them and that's why we were all up early but the weather wasn't too bad so I have spent most of my day in the outside having lots of fun and now I am having a snooze on my couch while I am sending all these thoughts to my dear old MH and she is writing them down for you to see what I am thinking.

I think we might all be going to bed early tonight but I will need to be out to play again before bedtime and I am hoping that I have a good sleep tonight. My MH is hoping the same thing!

Sorry

I know it has been a long time since I have been in touch with you and I hope you weren’t too worried about me but I have been so busy helping my humans that I have hardly had any time to do pussy cat things.

My humans decided it was time to tidy up our garden and they bought some big bags of chips, but not the chips you eat. No, it was red coloured chips that you put on your paths to make them nice and I helped the old dear to do some of this when my DH was at the Cat Shop and he got a big surprise when he comed home. And then of course she had to cut the grass and that meant more supervising from me, so you can see how busy I have been.

The weather on my little island has been a bit better and whenever I have managed to get some pussy cat time, I have managed to find a lovely wee secret spot where I can lie on the nice soft grass and have a snooze while the little birdies watch me and sing to me.

I got a nice surprise today when my friend S. comed to see me. We had a long chat and she gived me a big cuddle which I liked millions. I am having a snooze now while my humans are watching the television but I shall be going out in a while to see what I can find.

I like these lovely light nights.

More of the Same

I have had a good day, but the weather could have been a lot better and I would have been a lot happier. Sigh. We have had more showers and lots of wind so my poor old humans didn't get very much done in the garden and they were a wee bit fed up with that but I tried to make them happy and they liked that so I think it worked.

My MH had a lot of housework to do so I helped her with that and that made her happy too. I did manage to get out to play in between rainy bits and today I didn't need to worry about getting shrinked because I didn't get too wet and that made ME happy!

I don't have very much news but I am happy and I am well and so are my humans so that's all that matters, sure it is? But I hope you are well and happy too.

Tired Squeak

Wow, what a day I have had! I have been so busy doing so many things outside that I am now the tiredest little puss in this whole island! I have also been the wettest little puss, but that is another story. Hee hee

It didn’t look too good weather-wise when we all got up in this morning but by the time my DH went away to the Cat Shop, it was a wee bit better so yours truly wandered into the fields to see what was happening in my little world, and everything was fine. My MH was busy doing all her housework and when she was finished she decided to do some work in the garden so I was able to help her and we had good fun all afternoon until the rain comed back on and I got soaked....again!

I have been soaked quite a few times today but I don’t mind because, as you all know, when I get wet I always get cuddled dry and I love that MILLIONS.

I am very happy. Very tired and very happy. Not bad, eh?

A Wee Worry

I have been a wee bit concerned today and it is all because of all the rain we have been getting. You see, I am liking being outside now that all the little birdies are back to see me, but every time I go out the rain comes on and I have been so wet I am frightened I might be shrinking! In fact my dear old MH caught me watching myself in the mirror to see if I was getting littler! But I don’t think I am. Phew.

We have had a good day in between the rain ‘cos my humans are working in my garden so they have been outside with me which is brilliant and I like it lots. I wandered off every now and then when I was sure they were safe and I had a wee play and then went back to see they were still working hard.....and they were.

So, even though I have got soaked lots of times, I have still had a good day and I think my night time will be even better ‘cos the rain has finally gone away and I hope it stays away.

Washout

Oh dear, I have been a grumpy little puss today because it has rained and rained all day and I have hardly been outside for the whole day and that always makes me a little less than happy. SIGH!

I did manage out for just a couple of little trips into my garden and then I had to get cuddled dry when I comed back in again. That is really the only good thing about all this rain, so I am hoping it goes away very quickly.

My adorable little paws are crossed and I have asked my little weather man friend to make it better so we will need to wait and see what it is like tomorrow.

I am hoping.

Nearly A Cat- astrophe

Me and my MH have been watching the DVDs of ‘The Golden Girls’ and if you have seen it, you will know where I learned this. Picture the scene. Graemsay half past seven o’clock in this morning. Me and the old dear were up very early ‘cos she had an appointment in Stromness and she didn’t know when she would be back but she was going with her friend and thought it might be at tea time. My DH was going to the Cat Shop and he definitely wouldn’t be back until tea time so yours truly had a brilliant idea!

I would have a party with all my pussy cat friends and maybe some of the little birdies. Inspired, eh? So, I nipped out before the old dear went away on the boat and issued all the invitations and then had a wee lie down to think what I would need to do to have a brilliant time.

Well, I must have been thinking a wee bit too hard and then falled asleep because the next thing I heard was the Boss coming home and it wasn’t even lunch time! I pretended I was very pleased to see her, which I was, but I was also panicking a wee bit very much while she told me that since they had got everything finished quickly and since it was a rotten day, they decided to come home early. Oh lovely, oh joy, oh deary, deary me.

So, after I had said all my hellos to my MH, I had to scoot outside very quickly and tell all my little friends the party was cancelled and they were a wee bit very sad, but I am sitting on the old dear’s knee and I am very, very happy.
