Just Normal Again

And I for one am very happy about that. I have been taking it very easy today after all my trauma yesterday and I have ben demanding lots of cuddles---which I have been getting, thank you very much-- so now I am feeling more like my usual, adorable little self.

It was a fine day again on my little island so I have been outside lots of times just wandering and lying on my path listening to the birdies. There are some brand new baby cows outside my gate but I don't get too close in case the mummy cows don't like it, but there will be a time when I can play with them and I am looking forward to that.

I even went with my MH into the gym but I did wander away a couple of times and then went back to make sure she was OK--and she was. When she was finished, she needed a wee seat on my couch and I sat with her to make sure she was resting properly. We had lots of good fun just taking it easy.

And we both liked it MILLIONS!

What a Day!

I have been traumatised! I can hardly bring myself to talk about it, but since I know you will be desperate to hear all about my day, I shall force myself to relive it all again. Sigh.

It all started off so well 'cos when me and my MH wakened up early in this morning, the sun was shining, it wasn't raining and there was no wind. Perfect Squeak weather, so I disappeared outside as soon as my breakfast was safely inside my adorable little tummy. I had lots of good fun just lying on my path and soaking up the sunshine. It was lovely. I did get a little bit concerned when my MH told me to go back into my house 'cos she usually lets me stay out as long as I want. I soon found out what was going on!

A little while later the VET man arrived with his needles and potions and he headed straight for me, but since the Boss had shut all the doors, there was no escape for a defenceless little puss. Oh, my dear friends, I am trembling even as I am thinking about it again. He was friendly though and said I was beautiful so that helped a little bit and with my MH holding me tight, I wasn't too frightened while he looked at my teeths---he said I had a lovely smile hee hee--- and then put his stethoscope thingy on my adorable little chest and he said my little heart was going boom boom boom just like it should, so we were all very happy.

That was not to last 'cos the next thing I saw was a ginormous needle heading my way and without as much as a by your leave the VET man stucked it right into me. I didn't make a sound but my MH did wonder why I was looking at my tummy and between you and me I was looking to see if the needle was coming out the other side! It didn't by the way and I was perfectly fine afterwards, but I did put on my sad face for a long time to milk as much sympathy as possible! Oh I am naughty, am I not?

The rest of my day went very well and I played outside with my MH for a long time. I even climbed the clothes poles when she was hanging up her washing and that made her smile. This picture was taken by my MH at five o'clock in this morning when we had to get up to go to the toilet. The lights looked so lovely she thought you might like to see them.

PHEW

Remember I told you that me and my MH cut our grass last night just before dinner time? Well, we were really, really lucky 'cos just after our dinner the rest of the world disappeared when the mist rolled in and then when we went to bed it was pouring with rain and it has rained all day today. Oh boy, my MH was a very happy lady today 'cos there is no way she would have been able to bring the lawn mower out today and when she decides to do something she gets a tad annoyed if it doesn't happen. But fortunately she did it last night so we are all very happy.

I haven't been out much at all 'cos it has been too wet for me but I did get a surprise when my friend S. comed to see me when she got off the boat. I had to go into my kitchen to see her though, 'cos she had been out all day and she was a wee bit soaking wet and didn't want to drip on my living room carpet. We had a wee chat and then I went out to play when she was going home, so at least I have had some fresh air.

I have made a big decidement not to eavesdrop when my humans are talking 'cos I have learned that the V-E-T person is coming to my house tomorrow to stick his ginormous big needle into my delicate (adorable) little body and to squeeze me to see if I am fit. Oh yukk.

And before you say anything, I KNOW it is for my own good but I still do not like it. Not one single little bit and I may even leave home before said vet person arrives. Just don't tell the Boss I said that, please.

A Good Day

We all had a lazy day just sitting on my couch for a while and then me and my MH had a wander round my garden which was nice . When we got up this morning it was raining so she was a wee bit annoyed 'cos she wanted to cut our grass but she knew it would be too wet so we just had fun inside instead.

I had some work to do with my DH in the greenhouse so that kept me busy just after lunch time and then I went for an afternoon snooze while my humans had a rest for a while, but then, just before dinner time, the old dear went outside to feel the grass and she discovered that it was dry enough to cut it so we both went outside for a while and as usual, I just watched her from a safe distance and waited until it was all finished and then I had a roll on it and it felt lovely and soft on my adorable little body.

I was happy it was all finished and I am hoping that it will be a good day tomorrow so that I can get out to play although my little weather man friend told me it might rain, but I am hoping he has made a mistake 'cos I have lots of energy to use up and I prefer to be out when it is dry.

So, paws crossed!

It's Cold

Last night before we went to bed, my MH told me that if it was a good day today, we would cut the grass again and I was quite happy with that plan 'cos it means that I have company when I am out playing and then my grass is lovely when I roll on it. So I was quite a happy puss when we went to sleep.

I wasn't up at all through the night and this pleased the old dear, but she wasn't too happy when we got up 'cos although it was dry, it was blowing a gale and far too windy for her to take out the lawn mower. I wasn't overly upset 'cos it meant that my MH would be in the house with me and we could play lots of games together. And we did and it was just the bestest fun ever. Well, since the last time, that is. Hee hee

My day was complete at dinner time when I got some real fish and I just loved it millions. It is my very favouritist dinner ever! Me and my adorable little tummy are very, very happy.

A Good Fun Day

I have had a very good day indeed and I have been outside nearly all the time which I just love, but the best bit was that at least one of my humans was outside with me and I just loved that.

My DH has been busy putting all the ornaments and plants back into my garden and of course he needed my help with that, and then we had to go into the greenhouse to look after the tomatoes and I have finally chosen which one is going to be looked after by me. I gived it a wee purr today and it was happy. I heard my humans saying that they were going to get some strawberry plants, so I will have one of those to look after as well. I think I am going to be a very busy puss this summer.

My MH was doing a wee bit of housework but she did come out with me a few times and I helped her hang out the washing and when she finished that, we played on the grass for a while and that was very good indeed.

So, I have had a very good day and I am hoping for more of the same tomorrow. I shall let you know.

A Lazy Day

I have done very little today. In fact, up till now, and it is just after dinner time, I have done nearly nothing at all. But I have liked it.

Because my MH was away from my house on Monday, she had a wee bit of work to do, so I just followed her round my house and watched her. I did go out a couple of times but it was wet and a wee bit too cool to stay out for too long, so I went home and claimed my cuddles.

I was a tiny bit naughty through last night time ‘cos I tried to attract my MH’s attention when she was fast asleep, and I do admit to knocking some things off the dressing table which does waken her but it makes her a tiny bit very angry with me. I knew the way she called my name that I was in trouble and when she uses that tone, she sometimes shuts me out of my bedroom so I scooted under the bed and didn’t come out again until she was sleeping.

And then very, very quietly, I snuggled up beside her. And she didn’t even know I was there! Phew.
