Nearly Purr-fect...

.… but not quite. The weather was a bit better but there is still too much wind for me or my MH. The poor old dear tried to hang out our duvet covers and she nearly got blowed away to Stromness so she just comed back in again and me and my DH were very happy that she did! Phew.

Her and me had good fun early in the morning when she changed the beds so that she could get all the washing outside but then the naughty wind arrived and it was just too hard for the poor old soul. Sigh. We did have good fun though when I was helping her to put on all the clean bed things on the beds. She always loves when I help her.

My next job was in our greenhouse helping my DH with our tomatoes and I sat up on the chair and purred very gently to all my lovely tomatoes and I could see they were growing just a little bit for me 'cos they were very happy. I thought I might have had a wee rest then, but my MH decided to strim all our garden. She couldn't do it yesterday 'cos it was too windy, but she borrowed some of my intrepidness today and we both went outside together. She did all the work while I found a wee sheltered spot and watched her 'cos that's how I can help her. See?

I finally did manage to get a wee rest and I wonder if you can guess where I went? Yep, right up onto my MH's knee and I cuddled my adorable little self into a ball and had a very good snooze. Well, I have worked very hard today.

Later on I shall being going outside again, but this time it will to do pussycat things and no more work. Yippee!

More Better

I am much happier today 'cos the weather on my little island is much better today. It was nice and dry but still a wee bit windy but I found all my intrepidness and headed outside for a long play which was brilliant.

I had lots of outside trips and my first one was as soon as I got up. I didn't even wait for my breakfast 'cos I decided that if the weather was good then I should make the very bestest of it and so I went out in case it rained again, but it didn't, so I comed home and had something to eat then a wee rest before I headed outside again for more good fun.

My MH had lots of housework to do and then we had a seat together on my couch and she decided that because the weather was good, she would go and cut our grass so I sat in a wee sheltered spot and helped her and she liked that lots. My grass is all lovely again and the wind has got a wee bit softer so I may wander out and have a wee roll in my garden.


I do like when it is all short 'cos it feels good on my adorable little feets. She said she might strim it tomorrow but my little weather man friend says it might rain so we will just need to wait and see.

A Wee Bit Better .....

..... but not a lot! It wasn’t misty on my little island, but it was wet. Wet rain all day and I haven’t been out much again today. Sigh! I don’t like the rain and I don’t like the rain when it brings the wind with it and it did that today. Double sigh

We all had a lazy day and I spent lots of time on my couch all curled up on my MH’s lap and then when I needed a wee bit of fresh air I took up my normal position on the window sill with half of me inside and half of me outside and I was very happy indeed.

I have had a very quick trip round my garden and now I am all snuggled up on my chair on top of my MH’s fleece. And there I will stay until I decide to have a trip outside before bedtime, depending on the weather, of course!

I do love a lazy Sunday.

Lots of Mist

I have been an indoor puss today 'cos the weather on my little island has not been to my liking at all. Now, you all know that I am not a fussy puss when it comes to weather and I can be quite intrepid when it suits me, but today I couldn't find my intrepidness. I think my MH has tidied it away somewhere and maybe I will ask her to find it for me tomorrow. I shall see how I feel.

I wakened up this morning and when I looked out of the window all I could see was white. My little island was all covered in mist and that never really went away so I just had a couple of very quick trips outside but I didn't really enjoy them so I went back home and asked my MH to please play with me---which she did and we had good fun as usual.

I have spent a lot of my day just sitting on my window sill with my adorable little nose outside and my even more adorable little bum nice and warm inside my house. It's not as good as all of me being outside, but the next best thing.


The mist is beginning to go away so I may venture outside before bedtime. I shall give that idea some serious consideration.

Good Fun

.… and a surprise. I just love these kinds of days when I can get out to play as soon as I waken up. It was a bit misty this morning but not enough to keep this intrepid little pussycat from having fun.

I wandered slowly through the fields having lots of sniffs and having a wee listen to the birdies singing. I like to hear them chirping and singing and in the summertime there are lots of birdies on my little island which is lovely. I stayed out for a long, long time and then my adorable little tummy mentioned that it was empty so I raced home, jumped in the window and ran straight to my dishes which were filled with my favourite food and gobbled it all up till I was all filled up again.

I was feeling a tad tired then so I had a snooze before I went out to sit in my garden for a while and both my humans came out with me which I just loved and we had a good time together. In the afternoon, me and my MH were having a girlie time when my friend S. comed to my house to see me and she made a great big fuss of me which is what I was made for.


I just love being made a fuss of! Oh by the way, don't I look a very determined little puss in today's picture? Determined AND adorable!

Much Better

I had a quiet word with my little weather man friend when he was on my television last night and I asked him if he could send some good weather today and take the rain away for a little while, and guess what? He did, yippee!

I wasn't very hungry when I got up, so I asked my MH to let me out and off I went into the fields to have a good old wander round about and to have a wee chat to all my little animal friends and I had a brilliant time. I stayed out for a long, long time and then I needed a snooze so I wandered home again for a cuddle and a rest.

The rest of my day was very good too. I watched my MH as she did all her housework and then we did some baking and I lay on the chair in the kitchen and she chatted to me all the time she was working and that was very good too, then me and my DH went into the greenhouse to have a chat to all our tomatoes and we are all very pleased with how they are getting on.


My MH in particular is very pleased and that makes life an awful lot better for us all! Hee hee

Ho Hum

Well, my day was OK, but not as good as it has been. When we got up I nipped to the window and it was raining, so I was not best pleased. Then I noticed that my MH was dressed for going away on the boat and I had a little tantrum. Not a happy Squeak. I knew the old boy was going to the Cat Shop, but I never expected to be abandoned so early after the last time. Sigh!

However, by the time she went away, which was lunch time, the rain had stopped so she could leave the window open for me and that helped my mood just a tad. I nipped in and out to see what was happening and one of the times I was out I saw my MH coming back in her little kangaroo and I forgot I was in a bad mood with her and I rolled over on my path and let her cuddle my adorable little tummy.

I love when she does that ‘cos it gives me a tickly feeling inside and that makes me happy. I have been happy all evening and I have had lots of cuddles to make up for this afternoon, so no more sulking for me. Yippee!
