Yes or No

That's what my poor old MH kept asking me in this morning an I kept telling her no, but then she finally said yes and went away and I was a wee bit very sad.

So, to make sense of all that. My MH had to go to Stromness in this afternoon but when we all got up this morning it was very, very cold and snow showers kept arriving on my little island and when the old dear saw these she said to me and my DH 'should I go or not?' and he said it was up to her to decide while I was shouting inside my adorable little self 'NO!!! Stay with me'


Then the snow stopped and the sun comed out but it was still very cold and the old dear finally decided that she would go to Stromness after all and told me to look after my house and my DH and oft she went. Sigh. We had a good afternoon but as soon as I heard the door opening I raced into the kitchen to see my MH coming back to me and I got a great big cuddle which made me very happy and I haven't left her side since. Hee hee

I was outside quite a lot but just for little times because it was so cold, but not as cold as peoples in America are having. I don't think I would like that and I hope that if any of my friends who read all about me live in America that they are OK. I will keep my paws crossed for you.


My humans are going shopping tomorrow so I have to be left in my house all by myself so I won't have any news for you but I hope you are all OK.

More Snow

But still not enough to let me have a really good play in it. There were little showers with snow in them and my grass turned all white but then the rain comed on and tooked all the snow away again and then some more snow arrived again. And it went like that for nearly all of the day.

I went outside quite a lot but just for very little times 'cos it was so cold. Like really, really, REALLY cold and I was frightened my adorable little feets would get stucked to the ground so I had to keep moving very fast and that made me a wee bit tired.

My DH has finished pulling the wallpaper off the walls and he said he might put new stuff on at the weekend but he needs a wee rest first and if the weather is not too bad, him and my MH might go shopping on Friday but the old dear says she is only going if it's not too slidey outside 'cos she doesn't want to fall down. Especially if I'm not there to help her up again!

I was nearly a little bit cross in this afternoon 'cos my MH was on her Wii machine and I was having a very lovely snooze and then suddenly I was grabbed so that she could get me weighed and that wakened me right up! I was not very happy but my little Wii Mii was really pleased with me 'cos I haven't put on any weight at all.

I am still purr-fect! But we all knew that, didn't we?

More Snow...

... but still not as much as I would like. The grass in my garden was a wee bit white but there wasn't enough snow for me to roll on or play in or do anything in really. Well, I could do a couple of things but I do not wish to be indelicate as they may be children reading this. Hee hee

I gobbled up my breakfast and shot out the window to have a wee play and my MH told me that I made her laugh 'cos when she looked out of the window and saw me standing on the grass, she said I was shaking my little back paws 'cos they were cold and she said I did look a wee bit funny. We both reckon I need boots but we say that every year when the frost and snow come, sure we do?

My humans were a bit busy as my DH is still pulling the wallpaper off the bathroom walls but he is nearly finished, and my MH was doing some housework s0 I was a wee bit neglected although I did get some cuddles when I complained about being ignored.


Oh yes, I know which buttons to press!

A Normal Monday

I have had a good day. It has been a normal day, and this little puss likes normal. I got a very pleasant surprise when I wakened up in this morning 'cos my garden was all white with snow. Yippee! As soon as my breakfast had filled up my adorable little tummy, I was off outside, but not for very long I'm afraid 'cos it was freezing cold. Like FREEZING!

I ran about for a wee while --- I had to keep moving in case I frozed to the ground, and that would have been tragic, sure it would? Even when I tried to get back in my window I had a wee bit of trouble 'cos there was a great big bit of ice all along my window sill but my MH saw this and knocked it all off so that I could get back in safely and not coldly, if you see what I mean.

My little weather man friend wasn't on my television tonight but he told his friend to tell me that there might be lots of snow on my little island tomorrow and I am just so excited. In fact, I think I will go to sleep now so that I will waken up very early in the tomorrow morning and I can be out playing in the snow even before the little birdies are wakened up. A brilliant plan, eh. Just one wee problem

Confused Puss

Sometimes I just do not understand my humans at all and this weekend has been one of those times. Remember I told you that last weekend some of friends comed to my house and tooked away our Rayburn stove and my MH was ok with that? Well, our kitchen is now a wee bit different but the week was just a normal one until yesterday when my DH started pulling all the paper off the bathroom walls.


I was sleeping on my couch and my MH was in her wee gym but when I heard a noise in my bathroom I decided to wander in and see what the old boy was doing and oh, my dear friends, when I saw the state of the place, I nearly fainted clean away! It was full of little bits of paper that one were earlier on the wall and the walls had no paper on them any more. My first thought was what the Boss was going to say and my second thought was what was she going to do to my DH!

I must say I was a bit worried when I heard her coming back inside my house but I followed her into the bathroom and was flabbergasted to see her smiling and telling him he had done a good job. Well, my flabber has never been so gasted but as usual the old dear explained it all to me.


She told me that she knows when I am worried or upset 'cos I put on a sad face and that makes her unhappy too so it seems that they have decided to put new wallpaper on my bathroom and my kitchen so all the old stuff has to come off first and that was the old boy's job. Phew!


I might need to lie down in a darkened room soon. Hee hee

Guess What?

It is nearly bed time and this adorable little puss hasn’t been outside all day! Now, those of you who know me well will know that this is an unusual occurrence and will probably want to know why. And of course I shall explain.

We all got up quite early in this morning because my humans wanted to go to Stromness to buy wallpaper for our bathroom and kitchen which means there is going to be more work being done in my house. Well, it wasn’t a very nice morning ‘cos it was a bit windy and wet and although my little head wanted me to go outside, my adorable little legs wouldn’t take me. Hee hee

And because of this naughty, not nice weather, my dear old MH couldn’t leave the window open for me. Big sigh. I sleeped for most of the time they were away and then I ran to meet them when they comed back to me again and I did consider going out but when I got to the door, the wind was even worse so I very quickly ran back into my living room and asked my MH to play with me and my toys which she did......for a long, long time. And it was brilliant!

The weather has just got worse so I have spent the evening on my MH’s knee and whether I ever get out tonight or not remains to be seen.

Happy

..Not me really, although I am nearly always happy, but today the happy one in my house in my MH 'cos the Sky man comed this morning to fix our television and that made my humans, but particularly my MH, very happy indeed.

A few weeks ago when we had that very bad wind our Sky box stopped working and that wasn't good at all but then my MH told me the Sky man was coming and we just had to be patient. When she told me at first I was a wee bit confused 'cos I thought there was a man coming from the sky and I was a wee bit scared too but then she explained and that was OK. And when the sky man comed in this morning, he was a very nice man so we are all happy.

There was another tiny drop of snow today but not enough to get excited by. My MH had to go to Stromness so it was just me and my DH in my house in this afternoon and we were fine, but I was very happy when she comed home again and I got big cuddles which made me very contented.


So we are all happy in my house tonight and I hope you are happy too.
