More of the same...

...but I like it being the same. We were all at home together today and while me and my MH did the housework my DH was busy working on the cabinet he is making and what a noise he made with his hammering and drilling. It nearly gave me and my MH a sore head, but it soon stopped and the Boss likes what he has done so that is good news.

The weather outside was quite good too but it was a wee bit cool for this adorable little puss so I had lots of short visits to my garden and of course I had to go into the field to have a chat to some of my sheep friends. I do like that lots especially when we can rub noses through the fence. That always makes my MH smile.


So, that was my day really. It was a good day but there isn't a lot of news that I can tell you except that I am to be abandoned tomorrow as my humans are going to Kirkwall to do some shopping. I am hoping that the weather will be good enough for my MH to leave the window open for me.


But we will just have to wait and see.

A Super Day

When I wakened up in this morning I thought it was the summer time 'cos it was warm and the sun was shining and I just knew I was going to have a brilliant day....and I did.

It was a normal Wednesday day and my DH went away on the boat to go to the Cat Shop and me and my MH had a long chat while we were sitting on my couch because she didn't have any work to do. She had to go to a wee meeting in the Hall but she didn't leave me lonely for too and soon she was back beside me to cuddle me and tell me that she loved me millions.

We had a good afternoon together and I got out to play as much as I wanted and it was good outside 'cos the nice farmer man next door has put some sheeps in the field in front of my house so I had some company when I was outside and I liked that.


We have all had our dinner and my humans are watching my television while I am on my MH's knee and my adorable little head is on her lap top and I am sending all these thoughts to you.

A Good Day

I slept all the last night and didn’t go out to play in the middle of the night time, which pleased my MH a lot. We all got up quite early ‘cos both my humans had bits of work to do, but it was a lovely day so I was in and out for most of the time just watching and listening.

Every day I listen in case some of my little birdie friends have come back to my island but I think it is still too early and they are on their holidays. I am hoping they will be back soon ‘cos it gets a wee bit lonely when I am on my own. Both my humans were a wee bit busy today and my MH was baking some cakes while my DH was building a wee cabinet for our new kitchen.

I just wandered between them watching what they were doing and every now and then I got a cuddle from one of them and that made me happy.

So I have had a good day. A very good day indeed.

Another Adventure

Me and my MH had a very good sleep last night until about half past three o'clock in this morning when the old dear had to get up to go to the toilet and of course I had to get up too to make sure she was OK and that she didn't get lost.

She gave me a wee bit of dinner but I wasn't feeling too hungry but I decided that I would like to see what it was like outside so I put on my bestest 'please MH' face and stared at the door and she understood immediately and let me out to explore in the dark time and I liked it lots.


I had a wander round my garden and it was good fun, but like the very good puss I am, I remembered that my MH would be sitting on our couch waiting for me to come back in so she could get back to bed, so I didn't stay out too long and soon I jumped up onto the window sill and knocked on my window till she let me in again.


We had a wee chat and then nipped back to bed where we had a very good sleep until the alarm shouted at us in this morning. But I stayed in my bed 'cos I was still a little bit tired! Hee hee

In and Out

That's what I have been doing all this day. Just out and in and out and in. Out for a wee play and a big explore and then in for a feed or a cuddle or sometimes even both. I have had a crackin' day and I have loved it.

You will have realised it has been a good day on my little island and although it got a wee bit cool in this afternoon, it was good enough for this little puss to be outside lots. My friend S. thought it was a good day too and she comed to my house to see me and my MH and we had a wee chat together and she gived me some cuddles too so I have been very well cuddled today and there is still the tonight time.

When she went away to her own house, my MH asked me if I would like to go outside with her while she cleaned the inside of her new car. She had to get another one 'cos the little kangaroo hasn't been keeping very well and sometimes it takes my MH to a place but doesn't bring her home again and her little legs have had to walk back to my house in the dark time and she didn't like that very much so she got another car last week and we think that whoever was driving it before us was wearing great big mucky boots so me and the old dear had to make it all clean again. And we did. And she is a happy MH again.

So, we have had a very good Sunday and I hope you have had a good day too.

A Better Day

I was a wee bit abandoned yesterday 'cos both my humans had to go shopping in Stromness but they only went away on the dinner time boat so it wasn't too long to be lonely and as usual there were lots of cuddles when they comed home to me again.

Later on in the night time my MH had to go out again to help the little childrens at the Youth Club in our Hall so it was just me and my DH in my house and we watched the football but I am afraid the old boy wasn't happy when his team didn't win and he told my MH all about it when she comed home.


Today has been better and I have been out playing a lot and then me and my MH played for a long, long time on top of my bed and she rolled me up in my blanket and tickled me and cuddled me and I was just the happiest little puss in this entire world.


I am a lucky Squeak.

More Normal

So, we all got up in this morning when the alarm told us it was time and me and my MH had a seat together while my DH got himself ready to go on the boat to go to the Cat Shop. It was quite a fine morning, so I nipped outside for a wee wander to see what was happening and I got a surprise when some of my sheep friends were back in the field in front of my house and that made me very happy indeed.

We had a wee chat together and then I jumped back inside my house just in time to get a wee drink of milk from the old dear's cereal and me and her waved bye bye to my DH. I just lay on the back of my couch while my MH did a wee bit of housework but every now and then she would stop and give me a cuddle and we had another wee chat so that was good fun.

There was a wee drop of rain in this afternoon but it cleared up quickly so I had some more trips outside and now I am resting while my humans are watching television and I am still very happy.
