A Super Day

The weather is finally getting better on m little island and I have had a very good day indeed. The sun was shining when we all wakened up and so my MH decided that she would cut the grass and my DH had lots of things to do outside so there was lots of company for me which I just loved.

I lay on the bench in my garden but I was very careful when anybody comed to my house. I made sure I knew them before I gave them a special Squeak greeting 'cos I didn't want another big needle stucked into me. But everything was just fine.

I have hardly been in my house all day and have spent hours and hours lying in the long grass just listening to the birdies and I have been a very happy little puss indeed.

Oh Dear

I thought today was going to be good one, but I was a wee bit very wrong, because today was VET day! Aaargh! When I wakened up I was very happy to see that it wasn't raining or winding and that made me very pleased indeed so after my breakfast I scooted outside and wandered down to the old sheds at the bottom of our lane. I like down there 'cos I can climb up as high as the birdies and I can walk along the roof tops and pretend I am a ginormous giant and that makes me have a happy, tickly feeling inside me.

I nipped home a couple of times just to make sure that my MH wasn't missing me too much and as soon as I saw she was OK I nipped back out again. I do a lot of 'nipping'! So far so good. However, one time when I was playing I heard my MH calling for me and, being the obedient adorable little puss that I am, I ran back home to see what she needed and that was a big mistake, a very big mistake 'cos the vet lady was waiting for me with the hugest needle you have ever seen!

Oh my dear friends, my little legs shooked when I saw it, but as usual I was the bravest puss on this planet and didn't make a sound when she speared me with said 'THING'! Then she tooked out a stethoscope thing and feeled my little body all over, but I was a very proud little Squeak when I heard her telling my MH that I was perfectly fine.....and quite beautiful. She didn't actually say that bit, but I knew she was thinking it. Hee hee.

As soon as I recovered from this dreadful ordeal, I headed outside again and I was out for hours and hours and hours and I am afraid I was out so long that my dear old MH had to come looking for me, and I nearly didn't come when she called me this time in case there was another big needle waiting for me.

But there wasn't and I am happily sitting on her knee now and will head outside again in a wee while. Yippee!

Sorry

I know I have neglected all my friends this week and I hope you haven’t worried about me. I am well but I don’t have very much news ‘cos I haven’t been doing a lot. In fact I have been sleeping and cuddling up to my MH when she is on our couch.

Our weather hasn’t been very good this week with rain and mist and it has been a wee bit cold so not really Squeak weather but I have forced my adorable little self to go out and see what is happening on my little island. I am a inquisitive little puss! Hee hee

Yesterday I had a very lazy day ‘cos both my humans had to go to Stromness but I got lots of cuddles when they comed home and then I had to look after the old dear ‘cos her little legs were tired with all the walking she made them do, but I like it when she needs me to help her.

I have one bit of tragic news and I only know this ‘cos my humans thought I was sleeping when they were talking. They were saying something about a MOT which I didn’t understand but I nearly jumped out of my adorable little skin when I heard them saying
V-E-T!

I am sleeping now but I shall have to think of a way to avoid another ginormous needle being stucked into my body. It’s just not right, is it?

Not So Brilliant

I have still been outside lots today but the weather hasn't been as good as it has been and I have not been just as happy outside but I am hoping it will get better soon.

My DH is back home again with us so I am happy on that score because it means that when one human is busy, I can get lots of attention from the other one....magic.

I was away playing in the fields when I heard the lawn mower and when I nipped back home my MH was in our garden cutting the grass so I followed her around and watched carefully until she was finished and then we went into my house and had a seat on my couch and I falled asleep with my MH stroking my adorable little lugs.

So, even though the weather could be better, I still have had a very good day indeed.

Still No News

I am having a brilliant time just now and I am sorry I have not been writing to you but I have been very busy enjoying all the lovely weather we are having.

In fact, I have hardly been inside my house and I am afraid I have been making the old dear get up in the middle of the night time to let me outside ‘cos it isn’t getting dark now and it is my favouritist time of the year.

My DH was away for the weekend to a meeting so it was up to me to take care of the old dear which I did purr-fectly! In fact, I made her a wee bit flummoxed when I comed in the window and walked straight though my house and out the door! She is still befuddled but I just needed to see she was OK.

Sorry MH.

No News....

..... except I am a deliriously happy little Squeak because the weather on my beloved little island is still brilliant and I have been outside nearly all of this day and I have loved it.

My DH went away to the Cat Shop but my MH comed outside with me lots of times and that was just brilliant and when I was listening to my little weather man friend tonight, he told me the weather has to be the same good tomorrow so I will be outside again, methinks.

Oh I do like this.MILLIONS!

A Question

What is better than the bestest? You see, I thought yesterday was my bestest day for a long time, but today was even better and I wonder how I would tell you that. See?

When me and my MH got up in this morning, the sun was shining and when she opened the door we could feel that it was roasting hot and it was still early. Well, I gobbled up my breakfast so quickly it nearly gived me hiccups and then I went straight outside and I was out for nearly the whole day. It was beautiful.

But the very bestest bit was when both my humans comed outside and they decided that they were going to clean out the gym because when it was lovely and dry they could put everything on the grass and clean it all on the inside so there was lots of time for me and it was just the very, very bestest.

Then just when I thought it couldn't get any better, my DH put out all the little ornaments in my garden so I can chat to them before I go to bed tonight. OK, I know they are not real like I am, but when they are there, I can play all sorts of games and my imagination lets me have brilliant fun with them. See?

So now you know why I asked that question 'cos this has been a brilliant, brilliant day.

Warm Sunshine

I wonder if you can guess where I have been for most of the day? I suppose you can guess 'cos you will know that when it is warm and sunny, then I like to be outside lying in the long grass just listening to the birdies and watching all the little lambs jumping around the fields and that is what I have been doing and it has made me very happy indeed.

And what has made it even better is that right outside my garden there is a mummy cow with two beautiful baby cows who keep looking at me but I have learned not to go near them when they are brand new 'cos the mummy cow gets very angry but when they are a wee bit older, I will go and have a wee chat to them. I will ask my MH to take a picture of them for you and you will see that they are very lovely.

I am having my after dinner snooze, but I will be heading outside very shortly and I am looking forward to it.

Great Fun

The weather on my little island has finally got warmer and I a very happy about that and so are my humans. I have been outside nearly all of the day and both my humans were out with me and one time or another and I liked that very much indeed.

The old boy is still busy getting our greenhouse ready for our tomatoes and we were planting seeds today that my friend M. gived to us so I shall keep watching them to see what comes up.

My MH was in her little gym for a while and I helped her but just for a short time and then we all went for a walk round my garden which is looking very nice since me and my MH cut all the grass yesterday.

So, there is no exciting news, but we are all very well and I hope you are very well too.

A Brilliant Day

It has been warm and sunny on my little island and I have had a super duper day. I have been outside nearly all day but I did go home at just the right time 'cos the old dear was changing the beds and of course she can only do it properly if I am there to help her and today she gave me a new nick-name and it is 'yo-yo' 'cos she would lift me off the bed and I just jumped back on again and after I had done this about half a trillion times, she said I was a yo-yo and I liked that a lot.

The rest of my day made me just as happy 'cos I have found a perfect little hiding place where I can lie down in the sun and be lovely and warm while I can watch the world go by, but there is just one wee problem and that is 'swallows'! They are back and already they are pestering me but only when I am on my way home. So far they haven't founded my secret place.

And I hope it stays that way. My adorable little paws are crossed....but just when I am lying down, of course. Hee hee

Happiness....

..... is being an adorable little puss all lovely and warm lying in the long grass watching the baby sheeps jumping all around in the fields and listening to all the birdies singing. Life is just purr-fect and I am very happy.

Both my humans were at home today but they were both a bit busy doing lots of stuff so I just entertained myself which was quite easy really, 'cos the weather was more to my liking and I have been outside nearly all day just resting and being very happy.

I did go inside for a while and every time I did there was a big cuddle for me and that just added to my happiness. So, although I don't have very much news for you, I have had a very good day indeed.

Lots Better

I have had another very good day and it has even been a bit warmer which is very fine by me 'cos that means that I can stay outside for a long time without being a frozed puss. In fact, one of the times I went home to check up on the old dear, she gave me a cuddle and then laughed because my adorable little body was warm and she wondered where I had been but I didn't tell her 'cos it is my secret hidey hole. Hee hee

It was just me and my MH today because the old boy was a way to the Cat Shop but my MH did go out for a while because she is looking after my friend S.'s puss cat while she is on holiday but as you know, I don't mind at all 'cos S. does the same for me so that's OK.

I stayed out lots of times and it was lovely 'cos there are more and more birdies on my little island and I listen to them while I am watching the baby sheeps so I have very good fun all on my own but then it is great to go home and let my MH make a great big fuss of me.

My day....

….. has been a good one with lots of fun and lots of time spent outside although the weather has been a wee bit funny, and that is funny peculiar and not funny giggle, if you know what I mean.

Me and my MH were up a bit earlier today and we had a wander down our path before we even had our breakfast. The sun was shining and it was warm so we were looking forward to a very good day. After my breakfast I went and found a lovely spot in the grass where I could lie down and have a rest in a warm, soft spot. It was lovely and just as I was dozing off into a lovely dream, something hit me on my adorable little nose and you will never guess what it was. HAILSTONES!! I don't know where they had come from but I knew what they were doing and I did not like it one single little bit, so I had to scoot home as fast as these little legs could take me. Oh dear.

And that was how the rest of my day went, really, but I enjoyed it and when the hail wasn't falling on me, I was out playing either by my self or with my MH and I liked that lots.

My Monday.....

….. has been a very good Monday. I have been outside a lot and I have spent most of my time sitting on the bench outside my kitchen window 'cos I can hear the birdies outside and I can hear what my MH is doing inside and I like that.

It was a tad breezy but I was quite sheltered and when I did finally go inside my MH told me that I was lovely and cosy and then she gived me a big cuddle.

I spent a lot of time playing with my little green ball but I have put it someplace safe again so maybe my humans will need to find it for me. Oh dear.

Smashing Sunday

I have had a brilliant day and you won’t get any prizes for guessing what I have been doing. Yes! Playing with my little green ball that I love millions....nearly as much as I love my humans.

I have had this little ball since I was a baby puss and I keep making it disappear, sometimes for years, but then it pops up again or I remember where I put it and I play with it again which makes me very happy indeed. It isn’t the most beautiful wee ball cos it is cloth and it is a wee bit bald but I can carry it about with me and I love it.

But I think you have worked that out, eh? Hee hee

Another News Flash...

..... and a brilliant one this time ‘cos between us all, me and my humans have founded my wee green ball again and I am ecstatic with happiness.

It is kind of my own fault that it gets lost ‘cos I sort of stick it in places where we can’t get to but tonight I sat staring under the wardrobe and my MH asked my DH to lie down on the floor with a torch and a stick to see if it was there....and it was!

I am a very happy Squeak indeed, and I hope you are happy to....for me but for you as well.

News Flash!

I was a much better puss last night and sleeped through until morning and my MH was very pleased with me, but that isn't the news flash.

No, it sort of comed from my little weather man friend tonight. I was lying on my couch beside my MH sort of half snoozing and half listening as my little weather man friend told me what the weather was going to be like tomorrow and I was hoping he would tell me it was going to be warm and sunny and just purr-fect Squeak weather but instead of that he told us all that there was going to be hail and rain and maybe even SNOW!

Well, I got such a shock I nearly felled off my couch. I was not at all happy and neither were my humans especially the old boy who needs to go to Stromness tomorrow. He might need to go on a sledge instead of his little car. Hee hee

Me and my MH are just staying in my house cuddled up together to keep ourselves cosy but I worry about the new baby sheeps that are in the fields and I hope they will be OK. I am very glad I am a puss and not a sheep.

Naughty Puss

I know you will find that hard to believe but I was a wee bit naughty in the middle of the night time when I asked my dear old MH to please get up and when her eyes could finally see the clock, she told me it was three o’clock in this morning. I like to know these thing, you see.

We went through to the kitchen but the old dear discovered that I wasn’t hungry when I sat staring at the door with my ‘ I know you love me millions’ look and she finally let me out into the dark time which I just loved!

As usual, I was a thoughtful little puss and didn’t stay out too long because my MH would be waiting to let me in so when I got back we both went back to bed and snuggled up for a good snooze.

I haven’t decided if I will try it again tonight. Maybe not too wise eh?
