A Good Week

I have had a very good week and I have been so busy enjoying my adorable little self that I haven’t had much time to write to you. As well as that, my MH has been away from me on two whole days so I had to wait until night times to get my cuddles, but I did get lots to make up for being left alone.

The weather has been quite good earlier in the week but it has been raining today and I have managed to get wet a couple of times but as usual I got cuddled dry which made me happy.....and dry... Hee hee!

I have been a good puss ‘cos I haven’t wakened the old dear through the night and she likes that and she tells me I am a very good puss which makes me very happy indeed.

A Brilliant Day....

…… eventually! I had a very good day yesterday and after a foggy start, today turned out pretty good as well.

I wakened up quite early yesterday and when I ran to the window I saw that the sun was shining so I asked my MH to please let me out and I would get my breakfast when I comed home, and I was off like a shot into the warm sunshine and I loved it MILLIONS! It was so warm that my MH left the door open so I could wander in and out my house just as I pleased and that was good too.

My humans had some work to do in another bit of the island so they nipped away for a while and I entertained my adorable little self till they comed back to me, but then a strange thing happened. We could all see the mist coming rolling in from the sea and in about fifteen minutes the rest of the world had disappeared and it was just my little island that was left. Very odd.

We all stayed in my house for a while and then about half an hour later the sun comed back and the mist all disappeared again and we all went out to play! Brilliant.

So that was yesterday and today was just the opposite. The mist was there when we all got up and I thought I wouldn't be able to get outside in case I got lost but after I had gobbled up all of my breakfast, I looked out of my window and the mist was all gone and the sun was shining at me, and I was off into the outside. And it was HOT! Very, very hot and me and my MH loved it lots, but my poor old DH didn't know it was hot 'cos he was in the Cat Shop working very hard.

But me and my MH told him all about it when he comed home! Hee hee

More Laziness

It was a wee bit rainy today so I had to time my outside visits so that I didn't get wet and I managed quite well.

I was out again through the night time and I am afraid I sort of confused my dear old MH. I wakened her up about half past three o'clock in this morning and thought I would have a wee feed and then a stroll outside so I very politely asked her to open the door, which she did, and then I saw it was raining. Well, I sat for a while and pondered while the poor old dear was getting a wee bit rained on and she asked me to please come in, which I did.

But, then I sort of changed my mind and asked her to open the door again so that I could see if the rain was VERY wet, which it wasn't, so I nipped outside leaving her shaking her head! I didn't actually see her doing this, but I know from experience! Hee hee

I did apologise later but I didn't need to 'cos she already had forgived me. She always does!

Lazy Puss

I haven't done a lot today because it has been a wee bit cool on my island and it was raining some of the time too, so it wasn't really a day that I liked, but, being an intrepid little puss, I made the most of it and went outside when it stopped raining and that was good......short, but good.

My MH did some baking so when I was inside, I sat in the kitchen with her and she talked to me and I liked that lots too. Then I had a few snoozes. I was a wee bit tired because I had another of my nocturnal wanderings at four o'clock in this morning and the old dear wasn't very happy with me, so I didn't stay out too long and we were soon back in our wee bed again all cuddled up and snoozing.

My little weather man friend says it might be a better day tomorrow so I am hoping I will be outside for a longer time. My adorable little paws are all crossed.

A Good Day

The weather on my little island has been good today so me and my humans have been outside for lots of times and we have all liked it. Aand they got lots of work done, so that is good too.

My MH had lots to do in my house and I helped her change the beds and we played a game of hide and seek which always makes me a very happy puss. I just love hiding in the duvet covers and I have a feeling that my MH knows where I am and that she is just pretending she can't see me, but if it keeps the old dear happy, then who am I to spoil her fun!

After that she decided we would cut the grass again and my DH wanted to cut some bushes so we all went outside and I just loved it. The only wee problem was the nice farmer man next door was working with a great big machine in the field next to my house and I was a wee bit frightened of it so I stayed very close to my MH 'cos I know she will always keep me safe. And I was fine.

I am resting now but will be going out again before bedtime because the farmer has tooked his big machine away some place else so I know I will be safe. Phew!

Much Better

I don't have very much news for you because I have been outside for most of today and so my dear old MH doesn't know what I have been doing. She keeps asking me where I have been and what have I been doing, but I am not giving anything away. After all, a puss needs some privacy and some mystery doesn't she?

We were all outside for a while today as my humans were finishing putting all the chips on my path and finally the work is all done and I have two very happy humans...… tired but happy! I am sure it is because of all the encouragement I gave them that they did it so quickly.

The weather on my little island hasn't been too bad and that's why I have been making the most of it and staying out as much as I can and I am liking it lots. So, I have had a very good day and I hope you have too.

Not So Brilliant

My humans were hoping to do some more work in our garden today but it was too blowy on my little island so they weren't able to do anything outside and they were disappointed, but I was very happy 'cos it meant they had lots more time for me.

We all did little bits of things and I was able to get out to play for a while but I was happier being in my house and sitting beside my MH and getting lots of cuddles. You know how I just love my cuddles, sure you do?

I am to be abandoned tomorrow because they are both going to Kirkwall and we will all need to be up early so that they can get the first boat. I am hoping the weather will be good enough for the old dear to leave the window open for me but we are not sure about that yet.

Another Crackin' Day

I was up before my MH this morning 'cos my DH gets up first on a Monday and a Wednesday to go to the Cat Shop and I let him feed me and then open the door for me and off I go for a play until the old dear gets up, has her breakfast and then leaves a wee drop of milk for me when I come back in. Can you see how well trained they are? It has been hard work but I think we are getting there! Hee hee

Anyway, after we waved him away on the boat, me and my MH began our day of hard work. I wandered into the field to see what was happening there while my MH did her hoovering and cleaning and ironing and I just waited for her to come out 'cos she told me she was going to put some more chips on our path and she likes me to be there to look after her and to give her a wee purr of encouragement when she gets a wee bit tired. She likes that lots.

It was a good day and it was warm and not too breezy so the old dear got a lot done and my DH was very happy when he comed home and they are hoping to get it all finished tomorrow if my little weather man friend sends us some more good weather. They have got their fingers crossed and my adorable little paws are crossed too.

A Super Monday

The rain went away during the night time and when we all got up in this morning it was a lovely day and I was a very happy little pussy cat. The old boy was going to the Cat Shop so he got up first and I asked him to feed me and then open the window and as soon as my adorable little tummy was all filled up, I was off out of said window and away into the fields to see what was happening and I was very happy indeed.

I stayed out a long time but the very bestest thing about my hidey spot is that although my humans can't see me, I can see them and when I saw my MH coming into the garden to hang out her washing, I jumped in through the fence and stood beside her while she did her work and she talked to me all the time and that was very good.

The weather was so good that she could leave the door open so I just wandered in and out as I pleased so I had lots of wee feeds before heading out into the outside again. It was brilliant, but the very bestest bit was when my MH comed out again to put some chips on our car parking bit of our garden. Now, you all know these are the stone chips and not the salt and vinegar ones, and when this bit is all finished, then the garen work is all done, and that will be good.

So, you can see that I have had a very good day indeed and now I am having a snooze which is just brilliant.

Still Wet

Oh dear, the weather on my little island is still not very good and a bit cooler that I want it to be. But has it kept me inside? Indeed it has not because I am an intrepid little puss and I need to be in the outside so I have been out nearly all of this day and my poor old MH is complaining that she hasn’t seen much of me so I shall need to be special kind to her tonight and give her lots of cuddles. She will like that.

She has been a wee bit busy too ‘cos she went out to do some strimming Of the grass that she didn’t get finished yesterday before the mist comed into my garden. I gave her a wee help but I don’t really like the noise of the strimmer so I keeped away out of the way of it, but close enough that the old dear could see me.

She liked that lots.

A Bigger Change

Oh dear, it has rained nearly all day on my little island and I have had to force myself to go outside and every time I have ventured out of my house, I have ended up being a wet puss and I am not too happy about that. Sigh.

I did manage a wander to some of my favourite places but it is not as much fun now that the weather isn't very good and my poor old MH is getting anxious because she is sure she can see the grass growing really fast and it is too wet for her to cut. Sure that's a shame?

I was a wee bit naughty again in the middle of the night time 'cos I decided I wanted to go outside and when I asked my MH to please open the door for me, she tod me it was only half past four o'clock but I wasn't tired so I said that was OK and I would only be a little while and oft I went out into the early morning.

Well, the old dear was a wee bit tired still, so she left the window open for me and I didn't come back home again until seven o'clock in this morning and I am afraid I wakened her up again to let her know that I was back. I think she liked that!

I have been a wee bit tired today so in a way I am quite happy it has been wet. Hee hee

A Wee Change

I have been in my house a lot more today because my little island has been a bit on the cool side for me, but I was able to help my MH with all her housework and she liked that lots. I know this ‘cos she told me. We changed the beds again and we did lots of cleaning so my house is all shiny again.

I was listening to my television and my little weather man friend told me it is going to be raining and gale-ing on my little island tomorrow so we are not happy. The old dear needs to cut the grass before it gets much longer and it is still too wet so she is not very pleased with the little weather man. I tried to tell her it’s not his fault but I think she knows that already.

Maybe she will cut the grass soon...... before I disappear in it! Hee hee

Happy Again

My dear old MH is back home again and I am very pleased and I think the old boy is quite happy too. Me and her had a long chat after she had emptied her little case and she has promised me that I will be the centre of her universe for a long, long time and I shall make sure she keeps her word!

I have quite a good day although the weather has not really been too my liking 'cos it has been foggy and damp but it hasn't kept me inside. I have been outside nearly all of the day and just nipped back into my house every now and then to make sure my MH was still there and to get a wee cuddle while I was there. I liked it lots!

I am hoping to be able to write to you more times now that the Boss is back and I will tell you all the exciting things that I am doing....if I am doing exciting things! Hee hee

Much Happier

My new couch arrived today so I have forgived my humans for upsetting me and I actually like the new one lots. And I can still cosy up beside my MH when she is writing to you, so all is well with me again..... but just for a little while, because my MH is going away for the weekend! Sigh.

She is going to Inverness to meet a friend of hers and I have been left in charge of the new couch and my DH so I am going to be very busy and I won't be able to write to you, but as soon as I do, I will ask my MH to send you a picture of my new couch.

And we all know she will! Hee hee
