Just Normal

I have had a very normal day and I have liked it. It hasn't been very exciting but sometimes normal is good. We all got up quite early because the old boy was going to the Cat Shop and while my MH was having her breakfast, I nipped outside to see what was happening and as usual I timed it to perfection and got back just in time for my little drop of milk after which I needed another wee lie down.

The rest of my day was just spent doing more of the same--- wee trips outside, lots of wee feeds and plenty of cuddles from my MH and I liked it lots. It is not very exciting but it is good and right now I am sitting on my MH's knee with my adorable little head on her laptop and I am very happy indeed.

Yep, sometimes normal is very fine.

Super Saturday

I am a very happy little puss because the weather on my beloved wee island has been good two days in succession and that has made me able to get out to play lots and lots and lots and that makes me very happy indeed.

It was just me and my DH in my house yesterday ‘cos my MH went away on the boat with my friend S. and they had a ladies day out so I was in charge of the old boy, but once I settled him down in his chair, I went outside to hunt and explore and before I knew it, the old dear was back again with millions of cuddles for me and that was magic.

I have been outside for nearly all of today but I did help my MH to watch Strictly for a while and that made her happy but then I headed outside again to do pussy cat things and it is getting dark at night times again so I can hide and nobody sees me until I make one of my majestic leaps and that is just brilliant.

So, you can see we are all happy in my house and I hope you are happy too.

A Wee Story

I made my MH laugh again. Now I know that is not very unusual but if I tell you that it was at half past four o'clock in this morning, you will maybe understand why it is a wee bit unusual. I shall explain.

I decided I was a wee bit hungry so I asked my MH to please give me some food and as she was at the toilet anyway, she said OK and up we got. I had some food and then I decided it might be good to go outside for a while and see what the world was dong, so I headed to the door and asked the old dear to please open it for me.

Guess what? She said 'No'! You weren't expecting that now were you? Now, there are lots of words that I know.... like my name, dinner, play and things like that and I like them. I also know the word 'no' although I don't hear it very often, but I do not like it and when I heard it in this morning I was not best pleased, and I showed it and that's what made my MH giggle.

I heard her telling my DH that she could see I was annoyed and my adorable little wagger was shaking so much and so fast that she said I could have sweept the floor! But it worked, and she let me out anyway!

Do I hear the word spoiled! Hee hee

A Lazy Weekend.....

...... but a good one and I have been a very good puss indeed. I wandered in an out on Saturday just doing little pussy cat things and then going home to have a wee seat with my MH. She was a wee bit annoyed ‘cos the grass was too wet for her to cut it and she wants to do it before it gets too long. We thought we might manage today, but I am afraid it has been too misty and too windy for the old dear, so she has needed lots of cuddles from me and I liked that lots.

I was even a good puss through the night time and I didn’t waken her up. In fact, it was the other way round ‘cos she wakened me, but I pretended I was sound asleep and she soon snuggled up beside me again. I liked that lots too. I have had a very lazy Sunday with just a few trips outside.

My MH went out for a while to visit her friend so I just waited patiently till she comed home to me and I am now cuddled up on my couch as close to her as possible and we both like that. MILLIONS!

A Fun Day

I have had a very good day today 'cos the weather has been lovely with warm sunshine and no wind and that makes absolutely perfect outside playing weather for this little puss. I went straight out after my breakfast and played in the fields for a while till I decided it was time for my little drop of milk and then my first mini nap of the day.

My day is made up of playing, mini naps and mini snacks and lots of sitting with my MH and it makes me very happy indeed and I like being happy. I am usually a very happy puss but once in a while I can be a wee bit naughty and that's what I was two times during the middle of last night.

It was a lovely night and I wakened up when it was dark so I decided I might like to go outside for a while and wakened the old dear to ask her to please open the door but for some reason my DH wakened up too so he let me out and waited till I comed back in. I had another mini snooze and then when I looked out of my window I thought it was day time and we had all over sleept so I told my MH and asked her to let me out and it was then she told me it was only half past five o'clock in this morning. Oops! She did let me out though and I stayed out for just a little while but I liked it lots.

And she wasn't even angry. Well, you all knew that. Didn't you?

A wee Bit Better

It blowed and rained all of yesterday and all of yesterday night and this adorable little puss got as far as the door and then turned back into my house again and I was not too happy about it. I didn't even get my nocturnal perambulation before cuddling up beside my MH in our wee bed and that made me even not happier.

I wakened up about five o'clock in this morning....I know it was this time 'cos the old dear mentioned it when I stuck my little paw into her lug hee hee…. and when I listened the wind was a wee bit not as loud so I decided I would try to go out so the Boss got up and opened the door for me and just as I landed in my garden, the rain poured down on top of me really, really heavy and I had to scoot under one of our bushes until it stopped and then I ran back to the window and waited till my MH opened it for me and then I got cuddled dry again and I was a bit happier.

It has still been wet and windy today but I have managed to get outside a couple of times which has been fine and I am hoping I will manage out again before bedtime, but I will let you know.

Oh Dear

What a day and a night and a other day it has been! I am not a happy puss at all 'cos I haven't been able to get outside for days and days and days! My poor old MH is getting really worried for me. The nearest to the outside I have been is when she opened the door for me, but only my adorable little nose left the house….. the rest of me stayed in the porch.

I suppose you will have guessed that we have had really bad weather with millions of raindrops which were so loud against my windows that we had to turn up the television 'cos we couldn't hear a thing. Now, the rain is bad enough, but it comed with a ginormous wind and it was this naughty wind that keeped me in 'cos my MH was frightened it would blow me away and I think it might have 'cos it blowed away some of our ornaments but luckily enough my DH catched them before they got very lost.

So, I don't have any news at all but apart from being a tad fed up, I am fine and I hope you are all fine too.

Well...

I start a lot of my stories with 'well', sure I do ? But here is another one.

Well, I could hardly get to sleep last night for the sound of the rain battering against my bedroom window. Boy, there was a lot of rain. Really heavy, noisy rain and it nearly keeped me awake all night, but I managed to get some sleep just for a little while.

My MH got some sleep too, but I am afraid I was a tad naughty again 'cos I wakened her up in the middle of the night time so that I could go out and see what a lot of rain looked like. Well, I actually waited until the rain had stopped for a wee rest and I scooted outside to see what my garden looked like and then when I comed back in, me and the old dear had a very good sleep till it was the proper morning time to get up.

It has rained and winded all day so I haven't been out very much and when I did gather up all my intrepidness, I just stayed out for a little while 'cos the wind was just a little bit too strong for me. I didn't want to get blowed away!

But I am happy now on my MH's knee with my adorable little head on her laptop and she is liking it lots. I am quite pleased too! Hee hee

Windy

It was a very windy night on my little island but we all knew it would be ‘cos my little weather man friend told us it would. But it didn’t stop me from going outside for my bedtime perambulation although I didn’t stay out too long and as soon as I comed back inside my DH gave me some biscuits and then I cuddled up beside my MH on our bed.

It hasn’t been a very good day ‘cos it has still been winding and raining so I have spent the most of my day sleeping and because it was windy, my MH didn’t go swimming so we spent the afternoon together and I liked that lots but I am hoping it is better tomorrow so that I can get outside for a while.

Not Very Much News

I have been just doing my normal things so I don't have a lot to tell you but I am well. The weather has been sort of good and sort of bad so I have been going out when it is good and staying in when it is bad and that is very fine.

It was a good day yesterday and me and my MH were out for a long time 'cos she decided to cut the grass and as you know, she likes me to help her and I did it very well....just like I always do. It is looking very lovely again and I liked running in it when it was just cut. I do not like the chips 'cos they are sore on my adorable little feets so I always try to walk on something else and the grass is good. Sometimes it tickles my feets and that makes me giggle inside.

Today has been a bit wet but it hasn't kept me in and I have spent a long time in the big shed which is near my house. I like it in there and it's not too far to come home when my little tummy is getting a wee bit empty.

So, I am very fine and I hope you are fine too.

Good Fun

It has been a good day for this little puss although I was a bit tired when it was time for me to get up and meet my day. This might have been because I had another nocturnal escapade at half past four in this morning until about five o'clock and my poor old MH was a wee bit tired too because she had to stay up and let me in again when I was ready.

It was quite windy so she couldn't leave the window open for me and she wouldn't leave me out all night 'cos she loves me too much and she would be worried so I was quite a good puss and didn't stay out too long and then we both cosied up and had a very good sleep....although just not long enough! Hee hee

I have been in and out lots today and then I mentioned to the old dear that she hadn't put me in her camera for a long while so she tooked these special pictures of me just for you.

I hope you like them as I think I am looking particularly fetching in them. Don't you?

Well....

.… We are all very well but I have a little story for you which gave me a wee bit of a fright when my MH told it to me. Yesterday both my humans were in Stromness 'cos the old boy was at the Cat Shop and my MH was away swimming so yours truly was left all alone. I had a wee bit of breakfast and then went outside for a while and my humans thought they could have left the window open because it was a lovely morning, but I came home before they went away, so they decided to close it, and that was a very good idea indeed.

I settled down on my couch and just waited patiently till they comed back home to me and I did notice that it had suddenly got a wee bit very windy but then my MH told me what had happened to them and I had to lie down again. I shall explain. They got on the boat in Stromness and although it was a tad breezy, they weren't too worried but as they were sailing back to my little island the naughty wind got worser and because of the direction the boat had to come in at the other side of the pier and everybody had to go up the stairs to the top deck and then walk along a gangway onto the pier. My MH called it a gang plank, but I don't think it was..hee hee.

It wasn't too bad but a wee bit difficult when they were carrying bags but they got some help and then they had to walk up the pier to get the car without the wind blowing them away again! Oh dear, I am very glad I wasn't there. My humans were fine but they didn't like it too very much so I am glad they are home.

Today has been a lot better and I have been in and out lots of times without getting rained on which makes me very pleased indeed.

A Not Very Good Day

When I got up this morning and looked out of the window, I was quite a happy puss 'cos it was dry and there was not much wind, so as I was having my breakfast, I worked out what I would do with my day and I was very pleased.

I had an easy start to my day and sat with my MH while my DH was getting ready to go to the Cat Shop and then she told me that she had to go out for a while to look after my friend S.'s animals 'cos she is on holiday. I was perfectly fine with that and decided I would have a wander round my garden until she comed back again and it is just as well I did, 'cos as soon as the old dear comed back to me it started to rain!

And it rained nearly all day so I couldn't get out again until after I had finished my dinner and I was not best pleased, I can tell you. However, the rain seems to have stopped so I hope I can have another wee play outside before it is bedtime.
