Just a Normal Sunday

We have all had a normal day today and it has been a good day. Even the weather was better so I have been a lot happier today because I have ben able to get out to play whenever I wanted and that always cheers me up.

My humans remembered to fix the clocks again which was good 'cos one time my poor old MH got it all wrong and she made my DH put all our clocks back a whole month too early! Please do not ask why 'cos she doesn't know and if she doesn't know then neither do I but she had to make my DH change them all back again and he wasn't terribly happy 'cos some are up quite high. Oh dear. I didn't laugh....well, not where she could see me, anyway! However, it all went off without a hitch today and then we all settled down to watch the football and the old boy was very happy when his team won the game.

Me and my MH went into the gym for a while and she made her little legs do their exercises while I watched for a wee while and then went out to play on my grass and have a wee chat to Mr. Ram who is looking very sulky again so I didn't go too close in case he wanted to chase me although I am sure I could run much faster than him and I know I could definitely jump through my fence a million times better than him!

So, my day has been good and as I am a little bit tired now I am having a snooze before I head outside again later on. I hope you have had a good day too.

Not Much News

I have had a good day although it has been a wee bit too cold for my liking but hopefully it will warm up soon. I hope so.
I don’t have very much news for you because I have been resting lots but I did get a big surprise when my friend S. comed to see me and I made her smile when I said hello to her and then snuggled up beside my MH on our couch. She said she could hear me snoring, but I think she was kidding me.

I did manage out for a little while and I had a wee chat to Mr. Ram who was a bit happier today and then I blethered to two cows who were wandering around the field so I had a wee bit of company for a while and I hope they are still there when I go out before bedtime.

I had a little nocturnal exploration this morning when me and my MH were up at four o’clock in this morning but I only stayed out for about half an hour and then we scooted back to bed for another big sleep. I might try it again tonight. Depending on the weather.

Special Delivery

The postman comed to my house today with a big parcel, and you will never guess who it was for? Oh, you have guessed, haven't you? Yes, it was for me! Yippee. It was a box of my dinners.

I will tell you all about my dinners because they are very important to me. So, this is what happens. I have a special little box that my MH keeps some of my dinners in and we keep it under the sink so that it is handy for when I am hungry, which is nearly all the time Hee hee

Then there is a bigger box that keeps lots of my dinners in when the postman brings them and when that box is getting empty my MH sends away for some of my favourite foods. Well, they are my favourite when she sends for them but sometimes by the time they come home, I have decided I don't like them so much!

Oh dear, my poor old MH gets a tad annoyed with me when she puts my dinner on my plate and I just sit and stare at it with a very sad face that tells her I am starving and I don't like what she has given me. So she changes it for a new one and puts the old one out for the birdies and then gets a wee bit upset when she sees me eating it outside when I am out playing!

Oh yes, I am a tad naughty. Adorable but naughty!!

Still More of the Same

It is still cold and windy on my little island so I have been inside my house much more than I want, but it has been ok ‘cos I have been playing with my humans and some of my toys and that has kept me happy.

Remember I told you about the boy sheep that was in my garden? Well, my dear old DH forgot to shut our big gate today and the naughty sheep comed back in to find me. My MH saw him and sent my DH out to chase him away and to shut the gate, so if I need a chat I will have to go and find him, but I know where he is so that will be easy.

I am resting just now but will go outside before I go to bed and I will have a chat to Mr. Sheep but I might stay a wee bit away from him because he always looks so angry. But maybe he is just lonely.

I will try to cheer him up.

Oh Dear

I have just noticed that a wee bit of my story from yesterday was missing and I didn't know that yesterday so I am sorry. I wonder if the wind blowed some of my words away? Anyway, I will make sure that all my words are here today.

There has been lots more wind today and again I have hardly been outside except for a little time after my breakfast and I made my humans smile 'cos after a couple of minutes I managed to get my adorable little body back on the window sill and hammered with my paws on the window because I was sure I would be blowed away if I didn't get inside....but I made it safely. Phew!

My DH was able to get to the Cat Shop today and my MH had to go out for a little while too and when she comed home she told me she nearly got blowed away as well and I wondered if we might have got blowed away to the same place. Hee hee. But I guess we will never know!

I am still happy 'cos I have been playing with my MH and my toys but I am hoping that I might get out to play before bedtime 'cos I have a great big lot of energy that needs to be used up. So paws crossed.

More Wind

house 'cos the weather was rotten again and I wasn't able to get out to play which always makes me a wee bit grumpy but my MH always notices and makes me cheery again.

The good news, the VERY good news is that finally all the decorating work is finished. My dear old DH has been working hard today to get the last little bit of work finished in my kitchen and my house is back to the way that I like it....and expect it! I know it takes a lot of time and hard work and I do appreciate it, but I do not like being upset and at one time today I had to ask my DH where he had put my dinner 'cos he moved my mat and I couldn't find anything and I was in grave danger of fading away! I am sure my adorable little bones were sticking through my equally adorable little coat.

That is maybe a slight exaggeration, but I WAS hungry. Hee hee. I am filled up again, lying on my MH's knee and I am very, very happy.

Back to Worser Again

Oh dear, oh dear, it has been a dreadful day. It has rained all the whole day and the wind is still howling at us and it is nearly eight o’clock in the night time and I am fed up! My humans are not happy either and my poor old MH is a tad worried ‘cos she has to get the early boat in the morning to go to Stromness and she doesn’t like it when it is windy.My little paws are crossed for her. She will tell me all about it when she comes home to me at lunch time and I will tell you.

I have been outside for a couple of very short trips into my garden but I have spent most of my day inside my house playing with my toys and my MH and I have been happy but I am hoping that the weather will be better tomorrow and I will get outside more.

I will let you know that too.

A Wee Bit Better

The weather has been a little bit better today but just a very little bit. It was still windy and very cold but I did manage out to play for a little while after my breakfast but I didn’t stay out too long for two very good reasons. One, it was raining and making my adorable little body wet but the second reason was the most important one and that was the boy sheep.

Remember I told you he was in my garden yesterday? Well, he was still just outside my garden gate today and after I saw him chasing my MH yesterday, I decided not to get too near him....just in case he chased me too. Clever Squeak.

I have been playing lots with my little green ball and I am very happy indeed and I hope you are too.

A Not Nice Day

Well, my little weather man friend was very right when he told me there would be wind and rain on my island today and it has poured and blowed all day and yours truly hasn't been able to get out to play. However, my MH was out, but she wasn't playing. She was visiting another pussy cat 'cos my friend S. was away on a wee holiday and my MH goes and feeds all her animals and when she comed back she was soaking wet. In fact, she was dripping and nearly made a puddle on my kitchen floor! Hee hee

That wasn't the only thing that made her a wee bit cross today and the other thing was a boy sheep got into my garden and he wouldn't go away when my MH asked him politely so my DH had to go and chase him out of the gate. He was a big boy sheep and he looked angry so we all think maybe he was in a bad mood. Shame!

I have been having great fun with my little green ball and I even tooked it to bed with me last night which gave my poor old MH a fright when she wakened up and found it on the pillow beside her, but I was happy.

So, that has been my day and now I am having a snooze and hoping that I might to be able to get outside before bedtime, but I don't really know.

Lots of Fun

I am still having good days and that always makes me happy. All the work is finally finished in my house so there is lots of time for me which makes me VERY happy!

The weather has been good on my little island which meant that I could get out to play as often as I wanted and I wanted to be out lots so I have spent quite a while in my garden just wandering round and listening for birdies but there aren't very many just now. There are more baby sheeps though, which is company for me when I am outside.

My little weather man friend has told me there might be a naughty wind blowing on us tomorrow so I think I might be staying indoors if that is the case. I am sure there will be lots to entertain me and I still have my little green ball to play with and I just love that. I always make my humans smile when they see me playing with it and I play with it lots of times. They think I look so cute.... and they are right!

So, my days are very good and I am liking being able to be outside. It is just magic.

A Normal Day

And a good day with everything in my house just back to its usual and just the way I want it so I am a very contented little puss. My DH went away to the Cat Shop and me and my MH had one of our girlie chats while we were sitting on my couch. It is quite a while since we have had one of these and I like it very much when me and my MH sit together 'cos while she is talking to me she scratches my adorable little lugs and I like that lots and lots.

She had some housework to do and I helped her change the beds again and I just love that too. I play with the old dear when she is working and she cuddles me and tickles me and then rolls me up in the sheets---but not the clean ones-- and I am as happy as can be.

It was quite a good day on my little island so I was able to get out to play quite a lot and I knew that every time I comed home my MH would be waiting for me and that was just beautiful.

So a good, normal day.

Befuddled Squeak

So, our alarm went off very early in this morning and we all got up even though it wasn’t a Cat Shop day and I was a bit confused, as well as sleepy! I did try asking my MH what was happening but she was a bit busy and then my DH went away to the pier and comed back with two men that I didn’t know and as soon as they comed in my door they started pulling up all the linoleum in my kitchen! Shock, horror.

I hided under the couch because I was frightened what my MH would do to them, but guess what? She just smiled and sat in the living room reading her paper. So that’s when I was very confused and I un-hided myself and sat on the Boss’s knee and asked her what was going on and she explained it all to me. Phew! They were giving us new linoleum and that made my humans happy..... and it made me a wee bit not as confused.

I watched from my couch while they worked very hard and soon my kitchen was looking lovely again and in the afternoon me and my humans put everything back where it should have been and then I had cuddle on the couch with my MH and I was very happy again....and not befuddled.

Yippee!

A Not Very Good Day

That is for weather. For me and my humans it has been a good day and a lazy day like most of our Sundays. I like lazy days because it usually means lots of snoozes and cuddles for me and that makes me happy ..... and sleepy!

I went out a couple of times but it was cold and wet so I spent the rest of my day inside with my humans and I watched my MH playing on her Wii and purred lots of encouragement to her which made her go lots faster.

It is still pouring with rain and there is a cold wind as well so I think I will be staying in tonight ‘cos I don’t want to be wet and cold when I can be warm and dry cuddled up on the old dear’s knee.

Clever Squeak!

Wet, wet, wet

There has been a wee drop of rain on my little island today. No, that is a wee fib. There has been a great big lot of rain all day on my island and a big wind as well so I have been an indoors pussycat and a not very happy little puss as well.

The rain started in the middle of the last night time and it was pouring down so heavily that it wakened me and both my humans! Now, those of you who know me and my humans will know that it takes a ginormous noise to waken my DH. I just need to make a tiny wee sound and my MH is wide awake but a brass band walking through my bedroom would not waken the old boy! Not that there has ever been a brass band in my bedroom as far as I know. Hee hee

So, the rain stayed on and off all day so I wasn’t able to get out to play but I did play with my MH and I had a snooze on my little mat while my MH was on her Wii but sometimes I watched her doing her exercises and I liked that.

It is still a not very nice night so I am all cuddled up beside my MH but I am hoping to get out to play before bedtime. Paws crossed.

Guess What?

I have found my long lost little green ball!! The little ball I used to love and then lost. My humans looked everywhere for it but couldn’t find it and even when they were painting and my whole house was in a great big mess, the little ball was nowhere to be found and I was sad.

So, how did it reappear? Well, there are some mens coming next week to put new Lino on my kitchen floor and so the old boy has been taking boards off and getting the place all ready and when he was cleaning under where all the kitchen drawers are he founded my little green ball and I was just the happiest little puss in the whole wide world.

There is just one wee problem and that is that I have sort of lost it again. I will set my humans the task of finding it for me and then I will be ecstatic once more.

Yippee!

Not Much News

Life for me has been quite quiet just now, but it is a good quiet and I am still a very happy little Squeak. I am not writing to you every day because I don’t have very much news but I will let you know when anything exciting happens to me.

It has been cold on my little island but not cold enough to keep me indoors and when I go out there are some sheeps in the field fo me to talk to. AND I got a ginormous surprise when I went out today ‘cos there were two baby lambs running about and they made me smile. I didn’t go into the field in case the mummy sheep was angry with me...... but I will....soon!

There were two visitors in my house yesterday doing things in my house which I didn’t understand but they bringed ginormous boxes with them and I had a brilliant time jumping in and out of them which made everybody laugh. I had great fun.

Today I have been in the gym with my MH and then we played on the grass before the rain comed on and that was good fun too, so I am having the bestest times and now I am all cosied up on my MH’s knee and I think I might soon be snoring.

Oh happy puss!

My Sunday

When I looked out of my window in this morning I thought it looked nice outside so I asked if the window could be opened to let me outside, but when I got out I was very happy that I have a furry coat on my adorable little body ‘cos it was FREEZING outside! Brrrrr!!

I didn’t complain though and I stayed out for quite a wee while having a chat to the sheeps but I was a very happy little Squeak when I went back inside to my nice cosy house and got all warmed up again. I had a few trips outside and played for a while when my MH tooked her flowers to the graveyard again but when she comed home I plonked my adorable little body on her lap and we cuddled for a long, long time.

That made us both very happy indeed.There were two other things that made me happy and that was when the old dear played with me and the string and then when I rested on some lovely soft material that my friend M. is going to mend my couch with for us ‘cos when I was a baby puss I sort of scratched it and now my MH wants to make it better ‘cos I am a growed up, well behaved little Squeak.

And adorable!

Windy, Windy

Boy, has it been a blowy old day. The wind has been shouting at me all day and I did not like it one little bit. When me and my MH got up in this morning I thought I would have my breakfast and then a play in my garden but when I heard the wind I nearly changed my mind.

However, I decided I would be a brave Squeak and so I asked my MH to please open the window for me, which she did. And that was nearly a BIG mistake ‘cos when I jumped off the window sill the wind nearly tooked the window out of the old dear’s hand and she had to pull really hard to get it shut again. Phew!!

As for me, I am sure I was flying! I landed a lot further than I usually do and when I got back in again, through the door this time, I told my MH that I had flied in the wind and she just smiled.

She smiles a lot when I tell her my secrets.

Just a Normal Thursday

... but it has been a good Thursday for me and I have had a very good day. Me and my MH were up quite early because we were finished sleeping and we had a long chat on my couch before she had to start some of her housework and I just followed her around and waited patiently until she was finished.

My DH went out for a while and I thought he was going away on the boat but a wee while later he comed back with a box of messages.....tied up with string!! Oh what brilliant fun we had playing in my kitchen. I love sliding all over the floor chasing whatever is in front of me. But I have a little worry.

I heard my humans talking about getting new ‘stuff’ for the kitchen floor and I am hoping that it will be as slippy as this stuff. I will need to have my adorable little paws crossed until it comes.

Then I will let you know.

Helpful Squeak

I have been very busy today helping my MH do all her housework. She was in Stromness with her friends yesterday and didn’t have time to do all of her work so she was busy today and I, of course, had to help. It just so happened that she was changing the beds again and that is my very favouritist time to help her. Plus I always make her chuckle.

I jumped up on the bed just as she was pulling the sheets off and I got pulled down the bed as well and I liked that. Then my MH asked me to please get off so that she could put the clean sheets on, but I pretended I didn’t understand what she was saying and I stayed there till she lifted me off. But as soon as she turned round I was back on the bed again just like a flash of light and she had to lift me off again and I think I did that about twenty hundred times until the old dear was tired but she told me she had muscles now that she didn’t have before! Hee hee

It was really the very bestest of fun and when we had finished I went into the fields and told all my sheep friends what I had done and they all laughed to. I hope this makes you a wee bit happy when you know what I have been doing.

Nearly....

..... but not quite. I had a very lazy day yesterday just thinking and sleeping and watching so when it comed to bedtime I wasn’t very sleepy. I cuddled in beside my MH but when she put her light out I had a wee play with some of my toys, but I did it quietly so that I wouldn’t wake her up.

I kind of slept on and off a wee bit but then when the old dear had to get up about half past two o’clock in this morning I was very happy ‘cos even when she is still half sleeping she still plays with me and cuddles me but I didn’t really want that ‘cos I decided I would have another nocturnal perambulation and so I asked to please open the door for me.

Now, I was just a tad confused as to why she wasn’t arguing with me but as soon as she opened the door I knew. There was a howling gale in my garden and it nearly blowed me back into my kitchen so I just looked at my MH and told her there was no way I was going out in that! She just smiled and we went back to bed.Sigh!!


I have had a good day although it has still been a bit breezy but the wind has gone some other place now so I may have my perambulation tonight but I won’t tell the old dear and it will be a nice surprise for her.

I am such a good puss!

Change of Plan

It wasn’t such a bad day after all ‘cos it was just my MH who went away to Kirkwall and my DH stayed home to keep me company so I was a happy puss. I had to look after him a wee bit though ‘cos he wasn’t feeling too clever but as usual I carried out my duties with aplomb.

I did manage some pussycat time and nipped into the field to have a chat with the sheeps and while I did this, the old boy finished off the cabinet that he has been making and my MH was ever so pleased when she comed home. I think my DH got a gold star and I got a great big cuddle!

So, it has been quite a good day after all.
